1. WTF is wrong with the que

Been waiting for almost 2 hours to get in with a que of 1200 people on a random Thursday morning is confusing enough. I patiently waited while tabbed out doing other things checking back in from time to time and seeing me slowly getting closer. I was eventually at only a few dozen people ahead of me with about 7 minutes left when I tabbed out again only to tab back in 2 minutes later to find myself at another 80 minutes of a projected wait and 83 people ahead of me.

It has now gone back and forth saying I have anywhere from 20-60 minutes left and 50-120 que position for 30 more minutes. It once had itself down to less than a minute wait time and que position 25 only to watch it sit frozen like that for 3-4 minutes then jump back up to the same BS.

Does this happen to everyone all the time? I just want to know so I can stop worrying that either something is wrong on my end, or the server is messed up and I just need to try again later. I am not complaining at all about having to wait in a que, just about how inaccurate and confusing the que updates itself.

  2. Sometimes when the que gets like that, I just relog. Most of the time it lets me skip que. Don't know why.

  3. The queue is definitely not working. Myself, and 3 of my friends all bypassed the queue today. One got in queue, left, relogged and bypassed it. It seems something is very wrong with the queues programming and is giving away spots to people upon login, and not next in line in the queue or something.

Could explain why the queue seemingly takes x2 as long now.

  4. que goes 1 by 1 Slowly now lets make an Exsample : people stand in line 2 buy someting.. while someone isnt loking one skips into the line and gets free pass.. and jet the line before the man who skipped isnt moving fofard because many people skips the line..
Sometimes when people get lucky and login the right time between "1 and 1" they automatically get into acc..

timmer could say it will take 20 min but because people skips the que it will take 40ish..

and when the ques is over 1000 it will take normaly 1-2 hours... wtf

can't blame them.. 2 hours.. w8thing... just WoW... Gnome Much :D

The matter in fact its the effects of a improvement: People dont lose their position immediately upon logout ... as a result of which people who get accidental/random dc dont suffer.

So you know how to skip queue? And you decide to tell everyone on the forum?

Everyone knows, who doesn't know really should wake up by now, its nothing new, was like this when I was @free account back in 2013 or something, used to do it all the time.

Problem is, after a while more and more people realize this, so it becomes pointless to do it, since if everyone does, no one truly does it.

Sure you can spam log on and maybe get in, but you may waste 30 min doing that, instead of letting yourself into queue and do something else in the mean time.

Obviously if its 2k-3k queue, sure it might be worth it, otherwise...not so much.

Im curious. What happens when someone skips queue on a full realm with a limit of 10k players. Someone else get kicked out to leave room for the one who is bypassing queue? This might be the answer to people who QQ about constant DC :0
I mean, this is a major issue.

No-one is ever kicked by the queue system. The limit is just set for the queue, but every realm can technically hold unlimited.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up for me!

  11. These queues are kinda game-killing for me.

After a 9 hour shift of work - it's not so tempting to sit in a BG queue for 20 minutes. Surely this could be improved.

I tried changing from Ragnaros to Deathwing horde, since they get insta queues, but realized realm changes are not allowed anymore.

  12. OMGGGG I was number 500 in que after like 3-4 hours and my cat stepped on my keyboard and cancelled the que, im so pissed right now.

You read only the title of the topic, right?
