Actually the whole merging of DW/Rag was just an idea, not a demand and to help take some stress off the Lordaeron server, I wasn't trying to take anything away from anyone's playstyle, just problem solve out loud, that's it. Its kind of like noticing there are more WoTLK servers and less MoP and Cata. If one server or type of server is naturally more popular, then that's the one that should be catered to the most. No, not because I say so, but because most often the majority comes before the minority.
Okay, first of all I am not contradicting myself. I am covering both sides of the line. It's perfectly reasonable to express one's feelings and at the same time respect that the out comes and decision making is out of their hands and leaving it up to the staff to decide what is best to do and that's exactly how I feel and you are the first and only person in all of my forum posting years to EVER call me out on it. Does that make me automatically right? Not at all. It just shows that i'm smart enough to realize that the out come is out of my hands, but I should still feel free and comfortable enough to at least express my ideas and concerns out loud.
Also I went on further to try and explain that I completely understand that Lord isn't fully capable of paying the bills (or at least it may seem that way, i don't know for sure, neither does anyone else but WM). That's why I said I'd be completely open to ideas like paying a monthly fee, but I am completely against the idea of adding such features as selling endgame gear as it would completely go against what they're trying to do with Lordaeron. So I could actually see them not offering said features and just settling on a comfortable income. Adding bad features and making the server less "Blizz-like" is very bad for business and makes them come off as very shallow and greedy ( i also bet they know this to) that's why Lord has the current model that it has and it'll stick with it.
and no, I don't believe you. Not at all. Frostwolf/wotlk was ran by Hermes/Molten. This is Warmane and I hate acting ignorant and all blissful, but for now i'm seeing a better side of things and hope the staff keeps things the way they are as this is Warmane and not Molten.
Business do relaunches all the time as it's a way for them to show the community that they've learned some hard mistakes and that they're willing to change for the best. This is a sure fire way to bring people back and bring in some fresh revenue. I and many do not see Warmane as Molten, sure many of the same people are around, but Warmane is on a clean slate and we should sit back and watch openly and unbiased and let them show us they do care.
Okay, anything that I personally directed at you, I'm sorry if I came off as a bit brash. I guess I woke up in a bad mood and didn't realize it and I'll say it again, anything I said to you that came across as kind of harsh or rude, i'm sorry.

Was just an idea to take some stress off of a more populated realm. Not to attack those on Rag/DW, but just a bold business statement and it's just business. Not everything is an attack and there's no need in quoting me and trying to take something i said out of context. If you wanna post something I said where I was being an ***, I have no problem owning up to it as I know i'm not perfect.

And finally, I think the community should remember that they voted against having Lordaeron released. That realm exists only because the administration wanted it.

LoL, awfully naive of you to assume such a silly thing. I've been playing Molten/WM for 5yrs on and off. AFter Molt-down it took time for me to make my way back, but seriously..... you look at someone account to know how long they've been playing on a free server? O.O Especially after what happen last year? Are you like mental or something?

If players payed monthly, then we might as well play retail. Merging two realms for the sake of one when both servers will be the exact same soon with a few differences is short sighted and *****ic. Why are you so concerned with how they make money? If they needed it badly, they would ask for it. blizz like is more of guide lines than what it has end up being. This isn't retail, it's warmane.
Your giving solutions that only benefit one server. once that server is done, the work should begin on other xpac like promised. mist will be updated to new patch and old things from lord transfer over. cata will get same things and hopefully bg and another raid. Blackrock and warsong should receive new core. All on hold now because you get lord yet you can't handle a queue and will probably leave once icc is done. I personally don't care about progressive realm but wouldn't suggest removal of it because that would make me a jackass for trying to ruin lots of people fun. Post your opinion if you want but expect to be wrong or otherwise pwned unless you thoroughly think it out and can back it up with more than 'i think '

Who said I'm hiding? It's a free server, I make several accounts as I use to multibox and trust me I tried to get my old account back, but it was to late and there was nothing worth fighting to get back. Getting back some geared toons from an old and busted server, so what? My old account didn't have coins or points or anything worth it, so I'm trying to figure out what your point is by attacking me.
Actually.... it's not rather other games were willing to take my advice, but I never once got corrected for expressing my opinions in a constructive manor. The only time I had an account ban was Molten (a different one then my last one) and that was for trying to yeap.... express my thoughts on the forums and being constructive.
**Long Story Short: I posted a thread and it apperantly got deleted, so i reposted it, and the 2nd time i thought it was a browswer glitch or something, and posted again and bamb I was slapped with a perma ban. I tried to fight it and explain that I had no idea my post was being deleted and it was no good. I was like pissing in the wind.
So I let that account go and went back to retail for a while and when I came back i rolled a few accounts and started Multiboxing.
If you've read this far I hope you've enjoyed my little story, lol and FYI yes I've openly stated this before over the last few weeks and Mercy is "somewhat" aware of who i am and know's i've been banned in the past.

I skimmed over most of what you guys said, and between the pointless arguing I wanted to say this
x20 is a ridiculous rate. Everyone should agree on this; even Warmane decided it was ridiculous and lowered the rates previous the reset to x12.
It is understandable that many people have jobs, family,& social lifes and don't have the same amount of time other people have available for a game, but a server with rates higher than x8 is ridiculous and breeds new players that don't have a clue what they are doing.
Do we need another server like Lordaeron? No. Because when they implement the core from New Lordaeron into DW & Rag it will give us fresh, unbugged content to explore. For example; do you know how many people are going to get wrecked on PP when they give us working Oozes? Or whats going to happen when Gunship actually works?. What they need to do is drop the rates of DW back to x2 after they implement the new core, and leave Ragnaros at x12.
A lot of you view the player base as people who have done Endgame content from Wotlk or people reliving nostalgia but that isn't the case. In many foreign countries Blizzard doesn't offer retail realms. If you're haven't ever played WoW and you want to, and you're from one of these countries, chances are you're going to end up on Warmane. This is why we see so many players that are completely new, and this is why we see so many of these players on Ragnaros because it has the highest rate.
We don't need new servers. All we need is to drop Deathwings rates to x2 or x3 after the new core, and things will be just like they were a year ago except all content will work bug-free.
I wanted to add on a unrelated note; I noticed that Old Lordaeron was mostly American players, Western Europeans, & South Americans. I believe that is because those are the countries that Blizzard offered retail servers too, and that these players are the ones accustom to playing on x1 Original Blizz-like rates. I would really like to see some statistics on which countries prefer which servers because I think it would show that it's more accurate to assume that non-English speaking players tend to play on higher-rate servers because they are newer to the game & want their experience to be easier.
I've also come to notice that, when I was on Old Lordaeron I never had a problem finding American players, or atleast Western Europeans (Since I'm East-Coast, raiding with Irish/British players was common) to raid/join a guild with. This last year on Deathwing has been terrible. I haven't met a fellow American outside the ones I already knew & I haven't been able to find a guild that is within my timezone.
I can say that I did find an American player within the first hour of playing on New Lordaeron though.
Just another random thing I've noticed from experience; the best players seem to be Germans while the worse seem to be South American.
If a GM could maybe make a statistic based on the I.P. Addresses that access each server, giving us a percentage of which countries prefer which server, and what factions they prefer to play, it could help many of us find a better raiding guild & make friends.Edited: January 12, 2016

Our community never voted against having Lordaeron released. The community was upset that Lordaeron didn't return after the reset & that we were forced to play on Deathwing. The staff chose to not release Lordaeron, work on the core, and release it later in the year just like they did. I really have no clue how you could say the community voted against Lordaeron when 10,000 players are on the server 85% of the time, and atleast 7,500 players the rest of the time.
Consider that a portion of the community doesn't play WoTLK, creating unbiased opinions of what the Lordaeron community wanted. Just like when they gave us a Poll for extensions on Vanilla and TBC, players from other servers used multiple accounts to create their own statistics that weren't accurate to what players actually wanted. I'm sure you're referring to a similar incident.
