I just want to say I am strongly against updating Cata to MoP. I am not little princess that likes pandas and when it comes to deciding which expansion should go, I vote for MoP, simply because MoP joined this server last.
This is basically a genocide, because all my hard earned gear will be utterly useless in MoP. Righ now on my enha shammy I am killin everything that comes around. I have 2xNo'khaleds + Vial of the shadow, doing over 10k dps in PVP, while other classes doing 3k max. Updating to MoP will just throw all my gear outta window. Right now I just log in and I have my BiS toon. I don't have time to earn it all again.
I had to do 40 days /played just for the HC trinket.
I had to pay extra bills (electricity is ridiculously expensive in my country)
I donated for cataclysm shammy, not for MoP shammy.
hard earned gear useless? Kear said it would be refunded, and if you didn't pay coins for it something else would probably happen, maybe a mop version of it.
If we get are refunded coins back and get to bring one of our 85 characters across. Then sure do it. Only if we get our coins and the character we spent from start of the cata servers.
While the updates for Cataclysm have been few and far between I would still hope that Cataclysm stays on Warmane. I started out on Molten from Cata and stuck with it until Moltdown. After the wipe I tried MoP for a month with my friends but the experience wasn't great for us. We've since moved back to Cata and have had a good time and would hope to continue to do so.
I hope we can find enough people to persuade the staff to let Cataclysm live on ^^
I wish Warmane all the best for 2016 and hope it grows even more :)

Then again, you'd have to look into how talents and other things is set up compared to mop.
Mop has some weird things to it and regardless of current and soon to be update, I feel as though it is gonna make it a bit worse for us but straight up alien to you guys.

Tell me about it. My brother and I started out on Neltharion wotlk lol and we got placed into cata.
I miss partyorc the warrior, my first toon ever.
MY ONLY SAY IS: All toons lvl 1-85 SHOULD BE TRANSFERABLE not that same 20+ before sargeras or 15+ on old neltharion. We have toons we care for, don't wanna lose any in vain.
I still don't support this, I don't like mop, never have and I never will. I chose cata to play CATA not mop. Sorry. Refund or not, I still don't want MOP.
I'm not a Cata player and do support you guys dedication to your expansion. Atleast a single Cata realm, even with a small population limit should remain. But just remember that, at the end of the day, this server belongs to the Staff. They might decide to do what they want with it.
They will also decide how to deal with the benefits or consequences that wiping out Cataclysm from Warmane might bring.
And why update Neltharion, a living realm instead of Warsong?
Warsong has like 300 people max playing.
Or will Warsong be updated too?
I am happy for second MoP realm, but removing Cataclysm?
Except for one realm that nobody plays (I used to play on Warsong on Molten myself, long time ago, but i don't really like the current gear system - no real gear progress).

Same here. Just the fact that this was even proposed makes me much less likely to want to donate. It goes against the basic bargain I thought existed with Warmane- you donate to gear up a toon and the toon (and BiS gear) is there forever, barring some unforeseen catastrophe like the Moltdown. I like that much more than on retail, where they are constantly resetting things to make you grind more.
As a pvp'er, I hate world pvp in MoP, with pve gear being much better outside of instances. Plus, Tol Barad is much better than that silly MoP island with a bunch of godmode buffs lying around. Plus, they added a lot of dumb, skill-less abilities in MoP (second wind, burst of speed, stampede) that hurt pvp, imo. Basically my resto druid is the only thing I like better in MoP because I do enjoy displacer beast.

There wont be second realm. If they update cata to mop it will be merged with frostwolf.. No idea bout warsong but is should be closed, if not moved along with nelth.
They can not afford having 3 expansions.

I don't think so, there is die hard warsong pvpers on there, cutting them loose will only kill it's community.
Back then for me I started warmane/molten as a kid and played with my brothers and friends, despite their hatred for certain people, but yeah we grew up on neltharion pretty much until cata was given to us.
It would make sense to: merge DW and RAGS, leave the cata realms be and work on it, as they put it, slowly.
Guys... we aren't like Microsoft, that when they have a random idea such the Windows 8 being smartphone like and Skype recent updates, they go implementing and call it a "experience improvement". We evaluate the pros and cons.
