me as a hunter tried it, i did it like 2 weeks ago while standing on the same spot, and at the moment u r not able to attack them even when u r facing them

Just an updated information : You cant hit them anymore as a ranged DPS even. I did that quests on 4 toons so none should say "i don't know the spot"

I wanted to help a friend today but could not hit even with bow on my heads, shoulders or feet (means tried every single corner of temple for 2 hours)

funny thing is, before fixing the bugged quest, they closed the only route out as well. 'Drakkenyard' is stuck now forever until they solve the quest itself.

Lol, so many broken quests? I'm lvl79 and still in sholozar and my mate got 80 when he was at Zul'drak. Yes there are few broken chains, but you still can get 80 while leveling, you just need to do all quests that you can see.

YEs if you are playing solo u will ding but im 5 boxing so ya those broken chains really added up love grinding the last 2 levels imagine about 10k pulls of 30 + lvl 80 non elite packs and im finally 2 bars from 80 on all 5.

I just went back there and can confirm you cannot attack the Hyldmeet Drakeriders. They are constantly out of range.

So yeah, RIP to all those who can't get shoulder enchants.

im sorry but guys saying " get a ranged to do it " are brain dead *****s... the fact that you can do a quest in some way doesnt mean that the quest is working...

Tbh the way you do it could be considered exploiting because you are doing it not the way it is supposed to work.. which in turn is the definition of exploiting, same with mob tagging... it isnt supposed to give full xp but it does... then why one is punishable end the other isnt?

No one is saying they aren't working, but crying that you can't complete it is another deal.

Also no sane moderator/game master will ban you for "exploiting" these quests when that is the only way to get them to work.

Temporary solution :-

Take the daily dungeon quest from Dalaran and do them. [Not Emblem of Valor one]
That quest offers an item, which gives you 520 Rep with Sons Of Hodir when used.
So pretty much, you need 6 of those items to get friendly with Sons Of Hodir
or if talking in other way, you need 6 days to get friendly with them now

and when friendly, you can always donate 'Relic Of Ulduar' to get exalted.
Happy 6 days those who are not Friendly with Sons Of Hodir yet xD

Wish they would just institute a quest check command like other private servers. If a quest is broken u type .qc (link quest name) and it searches database and if its known to be currently bugged the quest auto complete and you move onto next part of the quest chain. This wait 6 days of doing a daily is ******ed especially since most people have no clue and give up on it and call server broken.
