I can see why people say WoW's gotten easier...

Here's some progress comparison:
8 hours into retail: 2 heirlooms, 200 gold, level 15 (stopped to do the darkmoon things), epic mount
8 hours into vanilla: level 10, 5 silver.

But damn, blizz support is 10/10

Their support is really, REALLY good. Plus they're really nice when you contact them.

If you think that about 2 heirlooms just wait until you have a "full set" of heirlooms.

Orrrr....

You could do a clean reinstall... It's only gonna take like 10 minutes max on a SSD.
Or get malwarebytes and run that, on an ssd (especially since yours is clean) it shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes to scan

After 9 years of leeching wow on private servers I finally did it. I got wow... Now to fork over some more cash and also get Legion... oh boi

Not that blizz and wow don't have my utmost respect, but the game is old and diluted. I think you're a little late to the party and I'm not gonna tell you nothing but don't feel bad if you won't enjoy wow no more.

I actually like the newer expansions more than the older ones. (from mop onwards, cataclysm is still my no.1 worst expansion)

Were you talking about the Windows Not Original annoying pop up that makes my WoW minimize?

Open Command Prompt

SLMGR -REARM

or...

SLMGR /REARM

If you get the pop up saying that it's solved, press ok and restart PC...

If no... then go to Start, Run, and write: regedit

Open the + from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, then go to Software, Microsoft, swidnows NT, Cirremnt Version, Winlogon, Notify...

Right click on this folder: WgaLogon and delete it,,,

First... try this, before the above... go to control panel, uninstall programs or whatever it's called... WIndows Updates... and look for KB971033
