Post Third War Krasus, Rhonin and Broxigar travelling back in time, courtesy of Nozdormu, to before the first invasion of the Burning Legion, where they meet Illidan, Malfurion, Tyrande, Cenarius, where Krasus meets his younger self, Korialstrasz, Rhonin becomes Illidan's mentor, etc. and all that leading to the alteration of the timeline to what World of Warcraft essentially is.
Edit: We are talking World of Warcraft. I believe Warcraft 3 is set in the prime timeline, not the altered one.

And look how they made an expansion for pandas. What they do is completely unpredictable now, if they wanted they could say there's a huge continent at the other side of the world and that the zerg from Starcraft live there.
But this time travel stuff is by far the worst.

They can make an expansion about sunshine coming out of illidans ******* for all i care, as long as its good expansion for once. I can deal with an expansion having a garbage story as long as the gameplay is decent for once.

As someone who doesn't play anymore, I'd prefer an expansion with a decent story that I can read and garbage gameplay for the few million people who trust Blizzard, if that's still their name. Good story and good gameplay is best, of course, but we haven't seen that **** since WotLk, and I doubt we ever will. Especially with memes like "jk illidan is not dead desu"
