Can't open my game

So guys i have new laptop with windows 10 I just downloaded MOP hoping to play it again after almost 1 month of oblivion.But it says that it's impossible to start the game,i've tried with "open as moderator" didn't happen again,tryed Xbox etc.Nothing I'm looking for someone who can give me some advice what to do,please no jokes,mocks etc.This is serious I wanna play my game ...

are you getting this error?

then you need to do this:
1) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
2) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only"

Hi, I can't open my game either, when I try it just says "the application "world of warcraft" can't be opened", anyone wouldn't by any chance know what to do?

I have El Capitan on my laptop, if that's a helping factor

When I type the command it says "no such file or directory", I'm I doing it wrong or is there anything else I can do?


Edit: It worked, made a mistake first time, but it still can't open...

did you try this?

Go into System Preferences > Security and Privacy > make sure you allow apps downloaded from anywhere. If that doesn't work, try right clicking your launcher > show package contents > content > MacOS > click on the binary inside there.

I made sure it would allow apps from anywhere, didn't work... what should I do with the binary?

Now it updated, but when I try to launch it it either goes to some battle.net site, that doesn't work, or it says "Assertion fail! Signaturefile", what do I do now... really want this to work, have been excited for hours now :/

you need to log-in by using your Warmane AccountName, not email address.
If your client has been upgraded then you have to delete it and download it again
