Beyond is a decent idea but the loot is ****ed. Afaik beyond mobs can't drop maps anymore, which makes it pretty pointless.

They are utterly annoying when leveling through daressos zone, since every arena spawns a ****ing boss. They used to be decent for hc when they actually dropped maps, now they are just crap, quite laggy crap if I may add that.

Didn't captivate me as much as Dks2, but all the Dks1 vets tell me it's the greatest game ever...
So... if you don't like 1 you might like it, if you like 2 you might not like it...

The most fun I've had with Dark Souls was multiplayer, and right now, both 1 and 2 are basically dead...

Why shouldn't he play it? Just because you only had fun in Multiplayer? You remind me one of those guys saying that MGS V was bad just because the multiplayer isn't a big thing.
EDIT: If you wanna play the game just play it. If you're going to take a decision through this kind of opinions there won't be a single game that you'll be able to play with full support.
