Also people can abuse it in other ways.

Don't be silly now. At best you'd get the city he lives in. Still, it's never wise to post your IP online.

I can IP mask my IP to his IP address.

That means, if he has security on his account, it will enable the IP mask to access his account - bypassing all security features on the account.

It is strongly advised to remove the IP address from the image.

Contact the website you published the image on - requesting them to delete it. They should then remove the image.
