Name reservations question

Okay, so, I got my 2 names reserved already (Riku and Sora).

However, I want to sell these characters on the trade service.

If I do eventually sell them (which is hard), will I keep the names reserved for Icecrown?

Name reserving should guarantee that name of the char is not lost when it's transferred. If you won't have the char with that name anymore then there is nothing that would keep the name.

I haven't seen any staff posts directly stating how it will work but it seems so from some related posts.

No you wont keep the name on Icecrown because you wont have the character lol

Correct. It just doesn't make sense - not having the character but reserving it's name.

Thanks! I do have the characters, but I thought that I could just reserve the name, since I do NOT plan on having them on Icecrown, but only the names.
