1. I loved the movie too, anyone knows anything about a sequel ?
Its not official yet,but i've heard that they will make 2nd movie.

Movie was fun to watch, but had some areas where it lacked quality.

Overall the story was average, but the CGI, special effects and fight scenes were explosive and overall shaped the movie to being decent. Some of the characters lacked character depth, but some of the characters like Durotan made up for the others lacking.

Great movie, would recommend and I look forward to the sequel... 7/10
They will release in 1-3 months extended version(almost 3 hours) where we will see many of the scenes that were cut.Im sure that we will recieve a of the information that is missing atm.
For CGI - i've liked it.It was interesting to see how will orcish homeworld look on the big screen.I've liked how they've made orcs in the movie too.
    Spoiler: Show
The only thing that i didnt like was Medivh - he was way to weak.Oh and King Llane was verry bad strategist - attacking such force with only 3 legions and leaving his best commander in jail ?I think that he wanted to die.

  2. sequel becoming more likely....

I just hope they dont rush the story too fast just in order to reach the world famous Arthas... Because it will suck, there is enough content for maybe 3 sequels if not more before we reach the point of WotLK and from there on 1 movie per expansion and we got 9 movies untill WOD, it will be hard for so many movies to be made unique and interesting but its certainly posible

  3. I am just glad i did not let critics keep me from going to see Warcraft. To me it was excellent and even a friend who has never played the game thought it was good as well. Going back to see it in IMAX :D

  4. Interesting movie, buuut a bit disappointing.
    Spoiler: Show

Medivh corrupted by Fel, oh please, he WAS Sargeras and Medivh and Guardian, why did he even let orcs in Azeroth, of coarse because Aegewynn sealed Sargeras tomb "so nothing from this world" could open it, and Sargeras found loophole to get his avatar body back... and like such Fel could corrupt Medivh the Guardian, he was such a noob in movie. And there was no redeption for Medivh.. opening portal to SW.. lols, after Khatgar, Lothar and Garona killed him with help of Medivh human part of himself, his mother resurrected him, remember? He went back to Karazhan and took back Guardians power and responsibility, he was just Medivh the Guardian, without Sargeras... he was the good one for the first time in his life.

No mention about Garonas curse, so warlock can control her, she killed king, but she was just a tool in warlocks hands against her own will... and that fueled war between orcs and Alliance even more, that is very important aspect of the plot.

Explanation how Thrall became green was epic tough, loved it.

But ok, I don't know how could they possibly put such complex plot in movie so people understand what is going on.

  5. As a long time fan of the Warcraft lore, I really appreciated the movie!

  6. I think that the movie could use some intro about the origins of Fel, The Burning Legion (which was completely left out and I don't know if it was for good), etc. ... one of the things the people who don't know much about the lore asked me was "What is that Fel and where does it come from?".

Also, there is a huge mistake, which hardly anyone noticed. We see Dalaran flying in the air BEFORE it could have been destroyed by Arthas, protected by a magic barrier, repaired, and THEN teleported into the air above the Northrend.

PS: Otherwise, I liked the movie a lot. I understand that it's incredibly hard to fit so much information into a single movie.

  7. It was terrible but it was cool seeing like elwynn forest in realtime i guess.

  8. The lore was completely different in the movie and I don't know why people can't see that, even Warcraft fans. Spoilers below.

    Spoiler: Show
Garona assassinated the king in Stormwind in front of his son's eyes, which is the MAIN reason why he hates orcs to his guts. In the movie the king "asks" her to kill him at the Dark Portal, which is absolutely ridiculous and he's not even supposed to be there. The last 15-20 minutes of the movie are absolutely contradictory to the lore.

Garona has an affair with Medivh, NOT with Lothar - this is a major lore flaw. They even have a son, who becomes the next Guardian.

Durotan never ever had any sort of peaceful human contact, what's left for an alliance with the humans. This kills, like, half of the movie.

Durotan and Gul'dan's mak'gora is entirely made up and never happened, even though it looked cool in the movie. In reality he is assassinated with his mate by Gul'dan's Shadow Council agents.

The fight with Medivh's clay golem was supposed to be a fight with a demon. The fight with that demon was supposed to be a separate fight from Medivh.

Stormwind is supposed to fall, destroyed under Horde siege, following Garona's assassination of the king. Instead, it appears victorious and closes the Dark Portal, which is not supposed to happen.

Medivh redirecting the Dark Portal with his last breath was completely made up and never happened.

I can go on like this for a really long time. Honestly, there is very little in common between the movie and the lore. Some movies contract the lore into a shorter version, yes, but this movie just completely changes it. There weren't even 10 minutes straight in the movie where the lore didn't get stomped by some ridiculous made up event.

Overall, I enjoyed the movie as it was a sight for the eye, but the lore and the movie story are almost completely different. At some point I even stopped thinking that this movie is even following the lore. Instead it makes its own story, because the differences were just too big and will have major impact on the future as well.

  9. July 5, 2016
Playing WoW for like 8 years now and never really payed attention to the lore. But i'm so hyped about the first movie that I can't wait till the sequel comes out !

The name is Warcraft: The Beginning. So the name makes me think there will be a second movie (YAAAY)

Some of the CGI was incredible and the bits with Gul'dan and the fel were fascinating.

It's a pity the movie was held down by abysmal acting and pacing, some of which so bad that even a die hard warcraft fan would struggle to ignore.

  11. Like most of you I can't watch it at the cinema so I have being waiting to be released online at iwatchonline.cr , and the reason i'm online today here is because of it lol,
I wonder if there is more part of it.

  12. Was really good, one of the best movies of 2016 for me
