Icecrown vs Lordaeron

Hey all,

I was wondering what the difference is between Icecrown an Lordaeron. If i look at the armory i see that the people on Icecrown have much better gear then the people on Lordaeron.

Also i see that you can buy much better stuff in the "donation store" for Icecrown then for Lordaeron. Why is that? Is the droprate for Icecrown better? or do lots of people donate? Or can you just buy everything in the normal store ingame?

Lordearon is only now on Ulduar, ICC is not released jet, so thats why the gear is lower, same for pvp, its a progressive realm, while Icecrown, well its icecrown, with everything unlocked.
On Lord its extremly unpractical, not worth to buy **** from Marketplace. Lordearon is if u want everything to get legit and the hard way on 1x rates. You can check thread about Lordearon and ull see why its like that.

Also, stress on HARDCORE. That also means bosses are more powerful, for example.

Lordaeron's players are WAY more skilled/smart than Icecrown players, that's all you need to know. Atleast on Lordaeron I see some people that gem/enchant/spec right, meanwhile on Icecrown going around in dalaran inspecting people it's pretty sad how many people don't research how to ATLEAST spec/gem/enchant correctly.

if you want to hit 80 fast and play regular raids play icecrown.

Lorderon - reservation for roleplayers, 40 years old guys with nostalgia, casuals, tryhard nerds who think x1rates boars killing is about skill and surely poor kids who think donation is a big shame
Icecream - realm for mature players, who do not want to waste lots of time clearing 9 years old content no1 really cares about in 2016 and players who understand that donation helps Warmane to hold their services and realms.

Long words short: if you have been beaten severaly times at the school - pick Lordaeron.

Legit LOL'd. Got told I bought my character as a healer because my rdf group didn't understand Hadronox mechanics. Got countless more stories like that if you got a year or 2.

I understand that on your casual reservation named Lordaeron there is nothing to do except dragon killing, but on Icecrown there is a huge pvp community, so people play there to pvp as well. Sounds cool, right ?

Someone asks for the difference and you don't tell him the difference but tell him how you feel about the other server that you don't play. That's so fuсkin rеtarded. Don't hate, but he is right. There are too many wannabeelite jerks on Lordaeron full of hatred towards Icecrown donation.
Just imagine situation: a cafe provides free wifi and allows you to come and use it for free.
And some kids are sitting there, using that free service and trashtalking other buyers "lol what a noobs paying moneys for that how could they".

Same with donation. People donate hard on Icecrown -> Warmane gets moneys -> Warmane pays money to developers -> Developers are coding and servicing all realms including Lordaeron, where people do not like donation idea.

please tell me how what i said isn't true? on lord you level slowly and the raids are buffed. on icecrown you level fast and their not. that's not my personal opinion, that's fact.
