GMs have NOTHING to do with it, Elledriver. On top of that, non-donors seem to be ignoring both - staff's and premium members' - answers. But it doesn't matter who tells them as long as they are correct.
Code is already very compact, increasing the cap would affect server's stability, splitting in two would a) break the point of merging them, b) reduce population playing there.
Therefore you simply can't get extra slots, no matter what points you bring up. The only thing you can do is pay to skip the queue or wait in the queue.
He's not wrong. I use Paypal for almost ALL my online purchases, the ONE damn payment method not allowed. **** I'd give Warmane 20 bucks if I physically COULD.
Increasing the population cap even further is out of the question. Server stability is ALREADY COMPROMISED with the current population.
I'm really surprised Warmane have decided to merge DW+Rag considering the hardware they are currently using is incapable of supporting the entire population they unloaded onto it.
For example, look at Elywnn forest duel area. People use to regularly use this area but now since the server can't handle it's current load anyone in that area will experience frequent lag spikes, some considerably more noticeable than others.
I understand merging the servers like this saved Warmane some money, but if the result is potential donors leaving due to being unable to log on or previous donors leaving due to latency issues.. warmane's income will ultimately take a hit.
This server is not the polished gem it once was. The population increase has been fantastic. But with excessive queue times and obvious latency issues, playing on Icecrown is simply not as enjoyable.
It seems the majority of global chat is people trying to sell their characters, rather than create groups. Personally a little GM intervention here would be welcome.

Youre right. Also the community seems to change, for the better or worse. But i wonder how will people sell their chars when the trade system asks for 700 coins... 100-200 is alright, but bloody hell, 700???
I like the server but i cant never get into it...I usually play in daytime but it is always full and i end up waiting 3 or 4 hours to get into the game...
I want to switch to Loarderon but i cant cause my rl friends play on Icecrown and they dont wanna switch...
I would like to do activity A at time T.
I don't like that I can only do activity A at time T+3.
I am not prepared to take actions that will enable me to do activity A at time T.
Therefore I will not be doing activity A at time T.
A taste of life, given to you by the internet. Such irony. Such joy.
