you cant. this is not current retail. and you couldent do that in wotlk retail anyways. what you are more than likely seeing visually is natural perfection procing
Nah, I was fighting a feral that healed himself pretty damn good w/o going into caster form once.
play a feral, until u find how to casting a heal spell w/o getting out from cat form, then you can say that word.
What expansion are you playing? In WotLK there's no way to heal in cat form except with http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=50726 (which I often use on my feral & can heal up to 14k crit) or http://wotlk.openwow.com/spell=34299, and of course http://wotlk.openwow.com/spell=48443 & http://wotlk.openwow.com/spell=26982 ticks. I believe in Cata and later, using your http://wotlk.openwow.com/spell=69369 proc doesn't take you out of cat form in which case it's very possible to heal large amounts while staying in cat form.
In cata i'm pretty sure it forces you to leave cat form, but in mop instant healing touches won't make you leave cat form for sure. On top of that it can be Nature's Vigil too ( http://www.wowhead.com/spell=124974/natures-vigil ). So I assume he's talking about mop.

I don't understand what the hell your talking about... I am playing a feral on lordearon. I was fighting a Tauren Druid that never once left cat form and was healing himself up. I got a nice healing touch off w/o never leaving cat form. We were like in our low 70's.
I don't know, maybe I was seeing things. He went from like 10% health to 75% w/o leaving cat form and I look at my combat log and it said he healing touch. it was just weird.
Hy fluffy fellas.
There is a question about DKs.
So, how to rape em as feral? Iam talking about bis mongols with shadowmourne.
My current gear is 10500 ap, 50% arp and 950 resilence, missing like 5-6 items to be bis.
Damage against DK is really low even with shred spam, meanwhile getting in face hard from gargoyle.
Any advices pls.
You say you got him to 10% HP? Undoubtedly he would have popped his http://wotlk.openwow.com/spell=61336, and a good feral would have gone bear form and combined it with http://wotlk.openwow.com/spell=22842 while using some form of stun on you to keep him safe.
Another possibility is that he was getting healed by another player, or used healing potions.
You have to get a good opener on him, using stealth. If you try to take them on in face to face (or, your face, his backside if you're shredding) combat, you'll soon be losing a war of attrition as his DoTs will outdps yours, and his self-sustain will out sustain you. Not to mention going head to head with a smourne, especially if he's full donor wrathful and you're anything less than BiS you'll be fighting a hopeless battle.
edit: okay i'll try to be helpful (keyword; try)
I don't main feral in PvP (I pvp on druid as resto, but I main as hunter PvP) but lacking anyone else more qualified i would either do,
if geared:
stealth -> pounce -> mangle +Rake -> Shred to 5 CP + savage roar -> face to face combat using berserk cd to burst him down. You basically need to end this 1v1 before your berserk cd runs out. He'll likely sit in frost presence for your opener, but if you he doesn't you'll likely win. If he uses his pet stun on you during your berserk, trinket it (most of them will do this). Once he's out of your stun you'll be contending with all of his deathstrike self healing and defensive so killing him won't be easy - you either need to kill him outright or get far enough ahead that he can't come back. If he strangulates you, expect some stupid burst to pour in and try to survive, do not even try to shift out to self heal and running away isnt an option due to death grip.
or if less geared, and with help
stealth ->pounce -> mangle+rake-> Shred to 5-> Maime -> Run for the hills or run back towards help.

Well with that gear, you're best shot is to berserk early as Raenel said and try burst him down. Pounce -> Mangle -> SR -> Rake -> Shred to 5 CP -> Rip -> Shred to 5 CP -> Maim/FB. But if they're a good dk that won't work. Best way to beat DK as feral is go with high resil and put bleeds, kite and heal yourself. If you're on Icecrown whisper me on my feral Meow and I can show you how I would duel a DK. Good luck ^^ Cya
There is a heal from herbalism, which is instant and doesnt cancel shapeshift. Its a somewhat potent HoT, atleast at lower lvls
3k heal is 2 ticks of Dedknite dots
You cant do **** to DK as feral.
All he must is to pop Icebound as an answer to Berserking, gather runic power for gargoyle and hold druid near him.
If bis Dk lost to feral there are two options:
1) Dk is a chimp irl
2) Druid overabused full resilence plus baulbekey while DK did not use that gayset
But its not a shame to lose as feral (one of the hardest classes) to death knight (noobfriendly class designed for those whos who lost one hand in Vietnam but still want to play WoW on decent level)
