Cataclysm Addons button not appearing! (character screen/cannot enable addons)

Hello there
So i'm actually living in Gerany so i did not take any risks downloading wow client with torrent.Instead i found this link

and then downloaded Atlantiss wow launcher in order to log into Warmane.So now im playing Warmane!
Now problem is, it's been about 2 weeks im playing normally without problems, i reached lv 100 with my main and continue playing normally.I have just 1 problem though.I tried installing addons (from sites with older versions>unzip and extract to wow interface>addons folder and so on), i did everything correctly BUT THE ADDON BUTTON WON'T SHOW UP AT THE CHARACTER SCREEN. It is like the game does not even see the addons inside the folder.
Some other info: i got retail installed into my computer too.Cataclysm is installed at my desktop, Retail is installed at C/program files.
Also i tried downloading different addons and from different sites, still no luck.Anyone got any solutions?Is actually the game client itself a problem? Thanks in advance

Make sure addons files are directly in its folder in AddOns folder. If you created extra folders while unziping then they won't work. If that's not the case then you probably did something else wrong. If there is no addons button then addons were not detected and it should not happen because of client problems.

as you can see i have done nothing wrong with addon installation.I am going to say once again, i DID NOT download cataclysm client with torrent, instead with streaming download from an old forum post and Atlantiss wow launcher.If this could have an impact, tell me how to correct it please!

What is inside Recount folder? Are addons files directly in it? You can also try to rename "INTERFACE" folder to "Interface". Capital letters should not cause problems but other than those 2 I don't see anything that could be wrong there.

I'm having the same problem, and have literally tried everything that everyone on other sites have recommended. I've followed all the steps exactly, extracted, made sure there weren't any extra problems and it is literally like the client isn't picking anything up. It's very strange considering my WOTLK client is working perfectly.
