"Call to arms" quests were removed in patch 3.3.3. Instead they introduced the "random battleground" option that grants a "first win of the day" - bonus.

He is talking about the Call to Arms weekend ,not the quests.

Yes,I can confirm that this week there was no Call to Arms,a possible explanation might be because there is a missing BG,who was introduced in 3.2.0(ToC Patch),Isle of Conquest.
However,they should sync Call to Arms with the calendar,right now it should be AB,but in their order it's IoC,which looks like a mess.
