Go to Blacktemple and kill your leader, you might aswell find other DHs in the entrance roleplaying.

Farm the invasion gear for your DH if you want. Do the Broken Shore quest chain on one of your other characters (Demon Hutners cant do it). Farm shards for the transmog sets from the invasion vendors, or for the pet, if you care for that stuff. On tuesday, there will be a new quest chain up for Karazhan I believe.

I can't handle leveling another character and i've only leveled like 3 characters. In diablo 2 you could have a character fully leveled to use 99% of gear in like 8 hours (this was with a rush, but you can't really do that in PoE), I can't even finish cruel in that much time. Once they get rid of cruel i'll probably play again. IMO ARPGs are all about the end game grind finding better gear, and currently the grind to get to the end game takes too long for me.

You can farm up a bunch of those pets from nethershard vendors then sell them later on when they are no longer obtainable. would surely sell for more, i might do that myself.

You can get to end game where you can wear everything you bought in 6-10 hours, depending on how good you are. It's just important not to do bad quests that have no reward and having a decent leveling build helps. I'm not sure how well it works time zone wise, but you are welcome to level together, usually takes me a day to get 60. It's pretty much just important to know map layouts a little bit and not getting lured in by time waster quests (sir ghost pirate in act 3 is an utter waste of time for example) and you will be flying through levels in no time.

Except that there's literally tens of thousands of people (more than the community of most other MMO's) playing private servers.

It's not nostalgia. The game simply was better in some people's opinion.

I for one, think that WotLK was the best expansion ever.
Some people prefer TBC, Cata, Vanilla or MoP (or god forbid warlords of facebook).

If you divide those players between those 3-5 pacs, you divide them by region, you remove the non donators, you remove donators who spent less money than a couple of monthly wow fees, the playerbase gets very small. Blizz knows that. If they could get good profits with legacy servers, they would make it happen. Take a look at their last games, hearthstone, hots, overwatch, all a bunch of rip-off from money making games, cuz they know there's a lot of bling bling to make in those.

Being in the same genre doesn't mean ripping off. That would mean all MMO's ripped off Everquest, all MOBA's ripped off DotA, all class-based shooters ripped off Team Fortress, all ARPG's ripped off Diablo.

They make the most hyped/popular games, they get the most haters.
Imo, Hearthstone, HotS and Overwatch are the best in the genre, while WoW and Diablo 3 are lacking. People have different opinions than mine, but saying they are "ripping off" to make profits is kinda exaggerated.
