1. reputation rates

    Hello the community

It's impossible to ignore the incoming changes in ratings.
I see a lot of topics about gold, but the gold you'll get eventually .. just slower, but that's not my point.
Reason for changes suppose to be "improve overall players' enjoyment", so my question is why lower he reputation rates?
Did you ever made 50+ reputations to exalted with 1x rates? I did and quest what, it's not fun. (I just like completing achievements)
Also for me and many people I know it's very very rare to use equipment from reputation vendor before it's completely useless. So with 7x I was exited at least I'll be able to use some of them.. for a while.
I honestly can't think of a good reason to lower reputation.. you just got few items quicker or some recipes or even a mount, but that's not a game breaking point for the character. Only possible reason I can think of is to keep player longer time grinding the rep... and yet again, this long repetitive activity isn't really fun so how it can "improve overall players' enjoyment" is a mystery for me.

I don't believe it's just me who come here just because of rates and I would really appreciate if devs could think about this change as necessary and if it really bring more joy than sorrow.

  2. I don't think they will change their mind about rep, I also spoke about that. However, x7 might be to rushy, while x1 may demotivate lots of players on farming their reps, as they wouldn't like to spend a lot of time doing so. In my personal opinion, if the intention is to bring more players out of the cities and walk around the world, I think the best option would be x3 or something. As for x1, while still possible, it feels like infinite reputation to farm.

  3. I've played 1x on retail and I play 1x here too, and I have exalted with a lot of factions.
I really cant see a problem, unless you're the type of person who wants to get exalted with everything in one night

  4. I've always thought the rep grind was fine...once.
But I've ALSO always thought it would be cool for them to acknowledge that and make subsequent toons (where faction permits) gain rep at a multiplier.
So like your 2nd toon repping with Cenarion Circle would be x2, third x3. They could even in-game it "Oho, you are a friend of (former toon), we already like you!"

What if I am? Neltharion was x15 when I joined Molten

If you are a casual, you get treated like a casual, and in game you're casual too. which means your rewards are casual c: so stay casual and take whatever's left for casuals

  7. If you are a casual, you get treated like a casual, and in game you're casual too. which means your rewards are casual c: so stay casual and take whatever's left for casuals
then how about we go 0.1x, or 0.001x, for ultra hardcore who wants to truly experience wow too the fullest?

having time to spend on grinding shouldn't be something you use to hate on other players for not having that much time

damn you're so inteligent :O because something being normal which is 1x and 0.001 is the same thing right? :O damn didnt think of that

you wanted to be ultra hardcore, not me. you made it clear in your post that anyone who disagrees with you on the rates are "casuals". 0.1x or even 0.001x will definately cater to your tastes, having to grind even harder for the most minuscule amount of resources dictated by the server custom spawn rates.

if you wanted blizz like, why not simply play retail? hell, shouldn't you be playing EvE, and running corps there instead?

ever since the upcoming changes are announced, it's always the guys who joined recently mocking older players for being "casuals". why dont you go back and read about moltdown so you can better understand why veterans are weary of major changes like these.

on private servers, there's no such thing as normal or 100% blizzlike

the lack of comprehension marks your youth and carelessness

next time when throwing hate and insults around, try having a valid point rather than an elementary "my opinion is above yours"

oh you even know what is and what isnt on private servers. woah ;o is there a rule or sometihng for it?

  13. Of course people can get to exalted with any ratings... eventually. But same goes for experience ratings.
If people choose that they don't want to spend a lot of time leveling to max level, they go to server with bigger rates and I just can't see why this doesn't include reputations (or won't include to be exact).

I just don't have/don't want to spend too much time chasing my pointless achievements goals so I didn't went to blizz-like server. But after leveling to max level it will just be like blizz again.

Noone is forcing you to grind 50 reputations to exalted you know .

Thats why I joined a x15 server 4 years ago, but somehow people who joined Molten this year wants to rule things now
Omg you're so edgy and hardcore, would be a shame if your server were to get wiped (but of course you dont know about moltdown and how people lost everything) keep counting as if Lordaeron will live forever please
