I wanted to rant about this new counter-measure for gold hoarding to be introduced soon on Warmane. Specifically regarding the realm Icecrown. If you're an average pugger that joins 'reserved' runs - its your goddamn fault a part of this is happening!
The pug leader makes a raid saying BOES/ Primos reserved. Well - that's good for him. He's getting easy gold just to invite some people.
He makes an average raid that goes up to Rotface/Festergut, kills BPC and Raid Over.
What you as the average pug care about is your raid gear and you measly emblems - Is it fun for you to just give up ALL BoEs/ Primos that might have been yours on a free roll to a random afking guy who is a 'Leader' just for show?
Its not the fault of the player making the raid. Not at all. Its the PUGGER's fault for joining such a raid with ******ed conditions.
And after making such raids every week - the raid leader is swimming in gold while you the pug doesn't get a cent. And then warmane comes along trying to curb all the gold hoarding everywhere. Yes my butthurt is real.

The people who join these raids are to blame , if noone joined such B&P reserved groups these leaders will spam global for a while and eventually quit .

Most of the gold's server come from BOE items on the AH. I think it would be wiser to ban for 1-2 days whoever does such kind of pugs than this

well it's not like ppl without guilds have a choice in terms of raiding anyways.
nuking gold reserve wont put a stop on it, it's simply gonna make new guys work extra hard for w/e minuscule amount of resources they can get

Simple answer - leave Icecrown. This realm is focused on donations anyway. And pls don't start with "hurr durr but i haev 10x 6k gs chars their, i cnat just leev". You know what? We all do. Because it's Icecrown. Your 6k GS chars mean nothing there. :)

Reserving items is alternative way of ninjing. I always said that! So yes when i see "reserve" thing on global i automaticly assume that this guy will be a future ninja and i instantly ignore. Same goes for all those HIGH-END greedy guilds who reserve BoE's for their purpose, only officers and asslickers can take those items from gbank.
Reserving needs to be BANNABLE no matter what is my opinion or where do i want to join or not! Just stop this cancer thing!

A PUG is a PUG, no matter what. Players take a risk when joining one. And for some of the Guilds that do this to their members also is considered a PUG, taking a risk joining that type of Guild that only does this for their own benefit and not helping their members.

Kek.. while they do 1 run i can make that gold in 5-10 mins.. (aka game time) with my lvl 1 alt's.. but thats once per day thing.. on my main well lets just say i once made 1 gold cap in 1 day.. BUT that was 2 years ago.. xD now prices have droped 6x times..

I'm a guild master in a guild on Neltharion. I'm always takimg boe's and a thing called essences. I do that to buy flasks, cookies, pots, gems, glyphs and so on for the guild members. If they ever want one of the boe's I sale it to them for a really low price in compeard to ah. I'm I a ninja if i'm taking things from the raids to finance the other basic thing, that my members maybe need for alts or during raidtimes as flasks and such things.

What if I told you, there are no god damn normal raids on this bloody server? and especially for those under 5.5k. Because let's be honest, you can at least do VOA with 4.8k, and I even dare say 4.5k.
