Too much autotune for me, the vocals sound off-beat during most of the song, lyrics are way too emo for me as well. Keep working on your dream though. Through hard work you'll get it right.

and yeh finnaly an honest comment , i was looking for it cuz actualy when i went to the studio to record that song i forgot my sd card which i had the beat on it at home so they gave me one right there and i never heard it before so i planned on redoing it since then

The most honest advice I can provide you is this;

Don't throw any of this material away. Save it. It works as an example of where you need to progress. Start filtering your autotune better, reduce the ammount of lines that you're using for your lyrics, try to find the proper rythm where you feel comfortable working on. Practice. Practice a lot. You'll be dissapointed with the first year of hard work but you'll start noticing progress after a while.

The best advice that anyone can follow when they're going after a career in ANY field. Specially about not throwing your early work away. You have to make and know the mistakes if you ever wish to improve upon them.

Even though I don't understand a single word of the first video, the vocal rythm sounds better in general and the tempos look way more decent. Can't add much more than that.

The second link called my attention on the autotune aspect again and I hate to hear that. Makes me cringe and makes me feel uncomfortable while listening to the song. Like I've said; Try to find a BPM that fits you better and where you feel more comfortable working with. It's better to develop slowly than nothing at all.

Use the software Logic Pro if you can. If you're only able to run Windows, Ableton Live. Those are the best production software's out there.

Oh so now you're pointing out scholarships since I seem to have shutdown your financial aid comment. Doesn't mean you're guaranteed a job right out of college, just means the financial burden was lifted off you.

Scholarships are a form of financial aid, you really earned your degree.

Nice to know I was able to pin point that out. I know a lot of people like yourself who were also engineering majors that didn't make it into the job market straight away. Know what held them back? Lack of experience outside the classroom. You still have to work at more than just grades to get the job. All the degree does is get you the interview. Once you have that, you're competing with everyone else who has the same piece of paper. You better be able to blow them all away with more than just grades and your senior project if you want that nice paycheck.

Has any of them shown interest in hiring you and paying you such value? Have you ever got contacted by any of those big industries? I think we both know the most precise and harsh truth for that; NO and you won't get contacted by them because you'll just be another lil'billy that got out of college and thinks he's someone.
