Being toxic isn't cool, but I don't think anybody here can claim to always be nice. Everyone has his moment.
This has happened to me in WoW before, and I'm kind of bummed there isn't a system like League's where you're notified if a report led to a ban.
It is philosophised that men are born evil and they learn to be good as they grow up. Some never outgrow their base instincts.
Trash talking is half of a competitive game, from what i've heard you instantly get banned/muted if you say anything somewhat mean in LoL.
What do you mean being toxic isn't cool? It's actually quite hilarious to see people like you getting mad and then hiding behind an ignore feature because they can't handle the heat when they try to sound cool. It's quite funny how well you can distinguish the teenagers from the grown people through that behaviour. I could literally imagine certain people running to their daddies yelling how someone was mean to them, am I right Orphic?
Obviously. Most of their community is filled with brats that can't handle the reality anyway.
This is completely wrong. Some people are mean because they can't be bothered with dealing with pseudo-intelectuals and crybabies. There's a difference. There's also the factor that people change their behaviour and attitude thanks to their life experience. There are so many values that need to be kept in consideration that we would stay here the whole day.

Said it a million times 'being offended' online is just sad, you choose to get offended by a random piece of text from someone you don't know like why bother lol.
What is offensive to 1 is not offensive to another reason i hate any rules that dictate how you should interact with someone just because they might Choose to be a ****ing whiny Social Justice Warrior.
When they start that, I stop carrying their asses in the match and when they realize we are going to lose because I'm not trying anymore, they change their tune pretty quick.
Reason why most of the people roaming around here are offended so easily. They don't like being slapped with facts.
You're the center of my universe bae. <3
Yeah, acting out in anger due to having reached one's limit is understandable. But those aren't the people that usually cause problems.
I wouldn't know how easily people get banned on there nowadays. I haven't played it in some years now. "Competitively" talking smack between teams is something I can understand, done it plenty myself. But being toxic and ****ting on your own team's morale is something I don't think people should do. Like, when it gets to the point where you're making someone feel terrible, I think there's a limit in there somewhere. Mainly within the team, though. As for team vs. team smack-talking, totally, go all for it. That encourages you to "beat the other guy", which is part of the competitive spirit - and then being able to get over it and shake hands afterward. But.... people ****ting on their own teammates is the biggest issue, because these are the people you need to communicate with in order to expect to be competitive. There's just no sense in it. I'm sure you get what I'm saying.
I don't really agree with you on this. I mean, sure, getting "butthurt" and lashing out at people because of something they said is a bit much. But people getting upset or bothered by someone else being an insenstive dickbag should be expected. You can put on a tough-guy mask and pretend you weren't upset or bothered, but there is one point or another that someone is going to say something that bothers you.
Or maybe I'm just too sensitive myself. IDK.
People who regularly get picked on either grow a 'thick skin', or they retaliate. Whether it be a kid getting bullied at school, or a woman who has an abusive husband.
I guess this "wise man" isn't that wise, eh?
I start to believe that's the reason why this thread has so many pages filled with replies. Some people, in fact, never stop being pixels and the only thing that keeps them moving are the other pixels that show up in here. I guess this explains my will of pointing my finger to certain individuals around here.
mfw you're ****ting on people for constantly being on the forums when you're the most active one still in the thread
Actually I might be the most active when it comes to popping in and reading the replies for some laughs. You kids and your stupid fights.
And they can be so naive that they still bite it. Every time. Because they need to be the superior pixel race.
