Greetings!
I've noticed there isn't much of a roleplay community here and it bummed me out esp. because I've read there's no rp guild on the Horde. So, I've decided to start my own. (I don't have much experience in being a Guildmaster or anything but I'm willing to learn along the way. I have a friend who will help me out with it all)
For now I just have the guild charter, the guild's name is ''Goldshire isnt that far'' (I'm sorry), and my character's name in game is Tinio, blood elf warlock (he's currently low level but I'm gettin' there, recently started playing again on Warmane). If you want to join add me in game and whisper me when online I'll hunt you down to sign my paper somehow. I don't mind that only the Alliance have the rp with them, but I prefer my Horde characters to be honest.
And again, I don't have much experience with guild leading, bare with me, even if you don't wanna join - tips, hints, any help is appreciated!
Cheers and hope to see you in game!
I purposely named it like that because I personally think it's funny. But I suppose if it poses as a problem I can change it, I'm open to ideas. I didn't mean to make this guild as a crucial part of a roleplay story, but more like something that could keep the Horde rp community together. Naturally it would have roleplay within itself but it's more as meeting/casual thing, how I've imagined since there's not many people here who do roleplay. If that makes sense.
But thanks for the input!
Cheers!
Eiiii!! Das pretty cool! But the guild still didn't form really. We're on Lordaeron. But I was thinking of just paying people to sign the charter and get out of it just for the sake of having it hahah.

Unfortunately I don't play on Lordaeron. I fully intended to but by the time the server was released I was so invested in Frostwolf that I just... didn't.
I do advise you to create the guild but if you do not have any invested players it WILL be a waste of time. Try looking around Lordaeron for other RP guilds first. With so many players there's bound to be a few.
If you're set on being a guildmaster, I advise you to coordinate with other guildmasters to enrich your RP experience. Hopefully, RP guilds on Lordaeron do not suffer the same political maladies that Twinking guilds suffer from. If they do, you're in for some major *****madery.
If they don't you're going to have a lot of fun. Since <Goldshire Isn't That Far> is an RPPvP guild, coordinating with an Alliance guild to orchestrate world PvP in Goldshire's environs will be quite amusing. If you plan to send a female Blood Elf to Goldshire looking for... work... [ehem] it could pay to have some Alliance friends say, "no, no, let her live, we have, err... business. "
If, however, you plan to TAKE OVER Goldshire (For The Horde!) then you'll need to coordinate with other Horde RP guilds as well, who may have their own motivations for joining you. I'm looking forward to reviewing pictures of your broken and disfigured corpses strewn across the countryside. The Horde can never defeat The Alliance. Everyone knows that.
