1. From Rhot To DS NM

I'm interested to know what Spec and ilvl you were when you first hit 26k dps at 3/5mil. I say 26k instead of 28k cause maybe some guildie carried the 2k dps for you. Right now as Mut spec and ilvl 385 with t12 2 piece bonus I am only pulling 20k dps (all my reforging, gems, and enchants are correct). As Combat when I completely respeced and adjusted my gems enchants and reforging I only pulled 18k dps after following the rotation that I was shown in tauri-veins. I even tried sub and only got to 16-17k dps but that was only on a dummy so I couldn't get the max potential since I had no one to trigger HAT. I followed all the tauri-veins guides to the T even getting Trickster's Edge for combat. So I want to know, when was the earliest you were able to meet the req for DS NM without ever donating, alt rolling, or getting carried hard(more than 2k dps). Also keep in mind that if it was awhile ago mut used to do insane dmg since it was bugged at the time but since then it has been -unfortunately- fixed. That's all, thanks.

P.S. I have vp boots, bracers, thrown, cloak, ring, neck, and belt. Next I am getting the trinket and also having some one make me the 397 DS recipe legs. After I get those 2 pieces I should hit 388. I am currently using hurricane on all my weapons since landslide is too expensive to waste on 378 daggers/axe.

Don't remember exactly when but for me it was around 393-395 ilvl when I first got 25k dps at 3 mil. I was subtlety back then(combat was bugged back then so I only played mutilate and sub), and I could only pull it when I received the buffs of other players and when they had aggro of the dummy, not to mention I was partially new to the spec. But my case was abit unique; somehow vial dropped for me early on, and I got "boosted" in gear a fair bit. You could compare me with donors despite not donating for gear for my rogue.

  3. Well I finally got into DS 10 NM. I was at ilvl 386 doing 23k dps on raid dummy as mut spec. I used Sigil vp trinket as well as Fluid Death JP trinket. I tested my dps with Arrow of Time ET trinket and as well as Ancient Petrified Seed FL rep Trinket. My best results were with Sigil + Fluid trinkets. I even tried Combat. With Combat spec I was 388 when I got my best results since I used Arrow of Time instead of Fluid Death. Same as mut spec, combat also reached 23k dps at 5m, I completely respec'd to combat including gems/enchants/reforging(I even tried using envenom in my rotation over evis and only lost about 5-7 hundred dps). The reason why I went into DS as mut over combat though, is because mut gives a debuff on my target that makes it receive 8% more spell dmg from all sources. In raid however, I was pulling 31k dps at ultrax and was consistently in the top 4 dmg dealers. If any rogue is wondering why the can't do enough dps to get into DS it is because with raid buffs we scale really well but without any our dps looks terrible. So just try to convince the RL that rogues scale really well :D
