The state of protection warriors

Dear Lordaeron-players, Warmane staff,

I would like to state up front that I think Lordaeron is a great server with a near-perfect experience, and that I think the Warmane team is doing an excellent job! That said, I would like take a moment to discuss the state of protection Warriors on Lordaeron. As we all know Lordaeron is a hardcore server and therefore raids are buffed: bosses have more HP and hit harder. Now this is all fine and dandy but it has one major consequence: protection Warriors have fallen out of grace and are near impossible to use in high end raids (hardmodes especially). With the increased difficulty the 'meta' has shifted to favour the other tanks, especially Druids.

Druids have an insane HP pool that makes them impossible to get 1-shot, DKs have a number of cooldowns which they can cycle to survive the large damage bursts + Will of the Necropolis (15% less damage under 35% hp) and Paladins have Ardent Defender as an automatic safety net. Warriors fall into weird spot where they have a little bit of everything but nothing dependable they bring to the table to stop them from dying easily. As a result protection Warriors are hardly used in high end raids and people often bi tch about them when a raid leader uses them in PUGs, despite being well-geared.

Now with ICC coming up I'm afraid the problem will only get worse. If the ICC bosses are buffed the same way the bosses are now, prot Warriors might never see the light of day anymore. Therefore my suggestion is to carefully think about how the raid buffs impact the game's meta and about what can be done to make protection Warriors viable again.

I did bug report and answer is "Be more specific, "warrior is weak" is not a proper report." LoL :D Admin even ask themself why no one looks for warrior tank in chat? There is clearly as you can see a problem with prot warriors and you even think to solve this problem or just ignore us?

Honestly your report is crap. I'd do the exact same thing the GM did.

*You have to be specific.
*Lordaeron is not blizzlike, thus what you experienced in retail means nothing here if one can even call that part an argument.

Warriors are not the problem. Imho the way the content is tweaked is the problem.
