1. impossible to create new account (2)

hey there, I already saw a topic about creating new account problems, but the topic is closed, but my friend still can't register. . My friend tried to register yesterday with lots of gmails and non of them worked, it said that the supplied gmail is not valid. He tried to register today too but happens the same thing. please help, thank you.

  2. Make the account yourself and give it to him.

  3. tried, still cant create account neither on my computer, nor with my gmail

  4. I confirm, the problem is not solved.. Either "that email is already registred" or "the email provided is not valid"..

To be honest that start being a bit annoying.

    Thank you in advance.

  5. i had no troubles to make a new account though :d typed a rand gmail, qeubf1... Havent validated it, so hope the site will delete it anyways (not like i could guess the gmail pass..), so the problem might be in the symbols maybe?..

  6. So, the problem SEEMS to be that it won't work if there is a "." in the address. That is, "[email protected]" won't work, but "[email protected]" will. I cannot fathom the cause of this, since I was able to sign up using an address of the former type originally.

  7. Okay, this is probably because warmane use dots to support multiboxing/alternate account with same e-mail.

Example, you have account named '[email protected]'. Then you can reregister that e-mail by adding dots anywhere between 'something' eg: '[email protected]' or '[email protected]'

Back then I thought gmail itself doesn't allow dots, which is why Warmane uses it to register one e-mail multiple times. Now I see that is not the case now.

Warmane doesn't use dots for anything. Players do that. Gmail just ignores dots in email addresses. You can register an email on Gmail with dots but you still own the version of it without dots also.

If dots are the problem you can just remove dots from your email address when registering here and Gmail will still send the mail to you.
