1. Startup and Graphical Issues

Hi, apologies if this has been uploaded by someone before, i'm new here and not used to using forums all too much.
My issue is that every time I load up the program, the video settings restore to defaults which is 1024 x 768. Sound settings also restore to defaults. I have no idea how to make them stay at what I want them once I exit the game. I also have another bug that makes hair untextured. It doesn't seems to do that to everyone but mostly dwarves and gnomes. Also, I feel like the character models look a little off with their faces. I was making a new character and noticed that human females, for instance, have runny, blurry, makeup. Anyone else experiencing these issues?
Thanks ahead of time for your patience!
(I am using the newest WotLK torrent)

  2. solution to setting restore: Close the game > righ clich on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only"

solution to weird face: Delete WoD models by following this easy guide: http://forum.warmane.com/showthread....the-old-client

  3. Thanks, unchecking "read-only" worked perfectly. I also followed the steps to fix the WoD models and although the characters no longer have weird messy textures or untextured hair, all NPC's have become untextured cubes.
Here is a picture of what my game currently looks like:

(edit: Aparently that also didn't fix player models because my hair became untextured again)

  4. maybe you have made some mistake while following the guide ( or the guide does not work for the last Wotlk wiht WoD mdoels).

Feel free to download a new Wotlk client here: https://www.warmane.com/download and pick "Wotlk (old)" this time

  5. My issue is that every time I load up the program, the video settings restore to defaults which is 1024 x 768. Sound settings also restore to defaults. I have no idea how to make them stay at what I want them once I exit the game.
I'm having the same issue no settings remain to what i set them when i reopen the game, i've tried the "Read-Only" solution and it failed, are there any other suggestions?
