1. Good Question ! Legion is best expansion after TBC :)

  2. Yup, I agree, Legion is the best expansion after TBC, WOTLK, CATA, MOP and WOD.

  3. I'm fairly certain that most people who have this weapon only got it because they paid for it. Plus undeserving? Yes, if they could not have earned it themselves without buying. That in my book makes them undeserving.

I do understand that it is a private server, that is why I consider coin shop as a necessary evil. But having people who have actually farmed the weapon, I would not mind since they still would've received it themselves with their work, not because they have real life money to use on it. Plus receiving the items ahead of time would totally destroy the progression, luckily Warmane will not sell items ahead of time.
Most people earn their money, you know... might be an alien concept to you but it does happen.

Dear Tdxs ,Stop living in private wotlk realms and you will understand :)

  5. Unfortunately I played Legion at launch, got content for 2-3 weeks, Class halls is the worst thing that ever happened to wow together with throwing epics at everyone. The lore has been ripped apart and looks like a joke... Illidan the lapdog of Kil'jaeden a good guy? Even warmane makes better April's jokes than that.

Way to completely ignore my point. Or maybe you just consider person who buys an item as a person who deserves it as much as someone who actually played the game for it. For me they indirectly earned it. Only people who directly earn should be allowed to have the best items in the game.

People just need to accept the new expansions, Legion is very well made expansion, good story, good gameplay, good graphics and very good new features in the game! Just a truly well represented mmorpg for 2016 - 2017! Inexperienced companies trying to make realm of the new expansion..so they are full of bugs, so nobody plays and everyone says: " its bad expansion , I go back to wotlk " . The Burning Crusade its my favorite expansion , but you need something NEW !

I don't think a shop to buy gear from is all that necessary of an evil. There are plenty of things people are willing to pay for that don't hurt the actual progression as much. Like cosmetic items, mounts and pets that are no longer attainable or never were ingame in the first place, xp boosts. Or even direct donations for that matter, though that probably wouldn't be as effective. If people have some cool new mount, others will want it, and be willing to pay for it.

All my friends would like an icecrown like shop realm, most of us have work and family, and the ability to purchase items to save time will be great. We are also happy to support the server using this method. Go TBC!
But at what point does purchasing items lose its very meaning? The point of having better gear is to be able to play and defeat harder challanges which is to get even stronger gear and so on. The "end result" of sort of "having reached the top" isn't really a desirable state in itself. If you buy items, you're doing so that you can play, but then again you might as well earn them and play doing so. Gear progression is kind of an endless grind no matter how many steps you skip via buying stuff. And if the process itself isn't enjoyable, then why are you paying the money in the first place?

In PvP it could still make some sense to battle it out with people all in BiS gear, though it does force those who would otherwise not have bought stuff but have a desire to play the game competitively to either spend ridiculous amounts of effort trying to catch up, or pay up themselves.

Yes its my birth year. You think it's normal for people to play the same expansion 10 years? In high rates private server ? Its not about "birth year" , I prefer to gain experience in something new. Two and half years are enough for me in WOTLK. But I can not blame you , if you like the monotony.

  11. Unfortunately I beg to differ, retail wow is boring has hell, boring game play, boring game mechanics, crappy lore and there is barely anything worth doing in retail atm. That's why I unsubscribed from legion. Just poor game concept all together which is normal as wow is a farming cow for blizzard and not a mainstream game anymore. So the majority of players ends up like me in privates because retail can't deliver. Too bad blizzard doesn't want to do "Legacy". Long live warmane TBC server!

  12. This is great! Good work Warmane!

I have some questions about it.
Is the progression server means it will be done in similar as WotLK servers? What I mean is will we first start from vanilla capping at 60 and then later going to 70?
Will this new server keep some of the mechanics from the later versions such as Random Dungeon Finder. I know this wont be a "true" bliz like experience but I'm sure that RDF was one of the best "invention" that blizzard implementent into the game and RDF makes the game more enjoyable.

Yeah, lack of RDF is to me the one questionable feature of Lordaeron. I didn't hate it as much as a lot of people, as for one it reminded me of my days beginning WoW in TBC (so there's the nostalgia factor), and when someone starts out for the first time in WoW, lack of RDF really makes one appreciate the way the dungeons are spread around and integrated into the world. But in time, manually traveling everywhere does get tedious.
