1. I am really hyped about the news for opening a TBC realm as like many others I guess, so here are some suggestions for the upcoming Outland:

    1. I really want to see x1 tbc realm(like many others here), but I am fine with x5 as far as goes for the shop.It woulbe nice if you can make the shop like in Lordaeron. What is the point of progression if someone levels up to 70 and buy all items that are BiS at that parcticular moment.

    2. The shop can include mounts, pets, tabards etc.., but putting the best items that the game can deliver to players or even legenderies is something that no classic TBC player wants to see.The realm will be successfull as what most of the comunity here suggests.

    3. It will be even perfect if you find a way to implement a dual spec and achievments.(these are the two, that I mostly want to have when I play TBC).

    4. A lot of players feel really nostalgic that they will be bring back 10-12 years, so listen to them and make it a real progression realm(first T4, T5, T6, Sunwell) and a lot of players will come to play and all of us staff and players will be very happy.

  2. Sorry if this was asked and answered.

On the PTR what exactly will be tested? All Vanilla content + BC? Or are we just going to jump straight into BC and test it?

  3. you guys constantly ask for rdf-transmog-barber-dual specs?
none of it was in this expansion. so it shouldn't be added.
if you want that stuff lock off your exp on mop at 70

I agree completely with most of these, while being somewhat doubtful about the feasibility of including dual-spec and the whole achievement system, since they were written for 3.x core and I'm not sure the systems could be made to work with 2.x without a significant amount of recoding (dual-spec seems like it might be fairly easy, but who knows?).

Also, the inclusion of raid quality items in a shop at all is something I would think about three times before doing it, as unlike WotLK where in later patches, dungeon/emblem rewards would rise in power anyway, thus rendering earlier raids mostly meaningless, in TBC the progression in the tiers and the quests built around that progression is really an integral part of the experience that people longing for TBC PvE would like to see again.

  5. Not entirely sure at this point. We'll let you guys know closer to the realm's official launch.
With that said, if our TBC realm is popular enough, we will consider doing a x1 no-shop realm just like Lordaeron.

Edit: Our first TBC realm (Outland) is unlikely to be a charity realm like Lordaeron is. We've made this choice based on the popularity of Icecrown - our player-base leaning towards convenience.
    Was hyped , not anymore

  6. Was hyped , not anymore
Indeed, that's kind of disappointing. Note the word "first" though... One can hope, right? :)

  7. Please please please consider adding Dual-spec to the expansion. Keep everything else as it is but please add Dual-spec.

Anybody trying to shoot this idea down has to realize Blizzard just hadn't thought of the idea yet, and they most certainly would have added it had they originally thought of it during the expansion.

  8. Release the PTR already!xD
On a side note are you going to provide the client download link?

  9. If it has TMOG ill pay it. Without tmog the game is 2 boring looking.

  10. Just PLEASE stop begging for x1 xp rates and for no cash-shop already.

****, we've been playing this game for way too many years now. How can you even stand leveling at x1 anymore? x1 or x5 xp rates make no difference in end-game, so I fail to see the logic behind begging for x1 rates besides having a massive nostalgia stroke, which is by the way pointless.

I've recently leveled on an x2 TBC realm from 1-70 and it was HELL. Took me about 4 days and 20 hours of /played to reach max level and keep in mind I've been playing this game for 10 years now, I've done those quests so many times I'm practically doing them with my eyes closed.

Also what's the problem with the cash shop? You're just making pathetic excuses saying that "Oh, half of the server bought gear" when you get kicked out of a raid/party for playing like crap.

Dude, have you even seen the prices on those items? Who the hell spends 200+ euros to fully gear a character? You could easily buy Legion and some months of game-time with that kind of money.

  11. Unfortunately I played Legion at launch, got content for 2-3 weeks, Class halls is the worst thing that ever happened to wow together with throwing epics at everyone. The lore has been ripped apart and looks like a joke... Illidan the lapdog of Kil'jaeden a good guy? Even warmane makes better April's jokes than that.
Wow, you have no idea of what you're talking about. Have you even read the recent Illidan novel? Clearly not.

And Legion only gave you content for the first 2-3 weeks? What the hell? You have so much to do on one single character that you don't even have time to level an alt without sacrificing progress on your main. Legion has more content than any other expansion ever had. Just because you don't like the content or are too lazy to do it doesn't mean that there's no content.

Also, how are class halls the WORST thing to ever happen to WoW? It's a small hub with players where you only have to stay for about 5 minutes a day, then continue your work in the Broken Isles. It's a far cry from what garrisons were in WoD. You don't have banks, auction house, transmog, you don't even have a damn mailbox.

Icecrown is popular only because of the x7 rates. If LORDAEON had the same rates it would be more popular than ICECROWN. The majority of people do not like leveling and they are burned out of constantly switching between servers. It saddens me that you do not aknowledge the fact that people overall do not like 1x realms.

  13. STFU not everybody wants to play with donors u ******. We earn our gear and play on a even playing field as should everybody else. Go play icecrown if you want to be a cheat donor
The same could be said for you, go play Lordaeron.

  14. The same could be said for you, go play Lordaeron.
So many people do not have the time to be lvling on 1x realms so that getting to 80 will take months. They are deliberately keeping Lordaeon 1x so that the majority playerbase would choose ICECROWN for the max lvl money grab.
