Impossible to level as an Alliance.

I don't even know if we will be offering faction changes yet.

Too late for that anyway. Warmane staff assured us that there were several faction balance tools that could be implemented and yet we've seen NONE. In addition, the website continues to display incorrect information (44 A / 56 H). This is so damaging as new players will see this and continue to roll horde as they don't see any problem.

Please don't tell us that is accurate because it's clearly not. Leveling to 70 as Alliance has been hell, and no way is the ratio anywhere close to that. More like 20-30 / 70-80.

If the staff aren't willing to implement anything yet to fix the balance, at least display accurate information regarding the faction balance %. The fact those numbers which are still on display, which was taken within a few hours of launch, is laughable as well.

Leveling in Outland is currently a nightmare for Alliance and I highly doubt that anyone from the faction is having fun while playing the game. Every single elite quest mob is constantly camped by 1-3 groups of horde players. And like some people mentioned above, there are more horde players than quest mobs in some areas.

Personally, I think x5 rate makes it so that certain zones and elite quest can be skipped. The re spawn rates, at the moment, are fast enough so that you don't have to walk around too far and just stay put and do your own thing.

I've not ran into any ally who refuses to group up, everyone is out there to help or get helped. I've only had trouble with higher level horde and few groups of horde here and there but for the most part everyone just wants to quest and move the hell on their way.

the issue while levelling is crap but not unsurmountable, the bigger issue is in outland where both factions inhabit every zone, especially when you are level 70 like i am, I now need to farm quests for rep, gold for flying and more, and its virtually impossible because wherever i go there is at least 10 horde compared to me.

I already am levelling a horde toon as well, currently 30+ just in case things do not imporove, then i will pve on my horde toon and pvp as alliance. I would rather not have to do that though, but not fun when there is not a huge amount of people at 70 on alliance, hard to get groups, cant do elite quests, cant farm rep outside of dungeons, cant quest for gold without being ganked non stop, meanwhile as horde you can rest safe in the knowledge that you can pan the camera around 360 degrees and see multiple other horde no matter where you are or what time of day.

Yeah i agree with you, currently lvl 65 and it's becoming unbeareable i litterally have level 70 camping me (usually BM hunters) i've just about had enough now, just started my horde toon now. Some folks are just really pathetic, sadly.

Swarmer, you gotta be kidding, dude.... Come on, I got raped on SVT and HP as an alliance. So many hordes, even in group, we have no chance to winning to so many horde population.

You are right i was kidding. I am just repeating what some people were saying in that 27 page thread about faction balance that was up before they even opened the server. The people who played TBC before knew what was coming and tried to warn the staff and players about it.

But as we can see it fell on deaf ears and now we have what we have. I mean im sure the devs have plans about the faction balance im 99% sure since some of them said they were hc TBC players. I think they have some plans to battle the faction balance and (rightfully) get something out of it (aka moneyz). I really dont want to believe they listened to the people who said the population will balance itself out.

To do any big action against queues and balance now will be too soon since the server needs at least a month or 2 or even more to see what the real picture is so people just need to hold on tight and wait. Changes will be coming imo just not too soon.

The only downside is that horde players will have such an advantatge that the competitive side (which always comes with a progression-based realm) will be careless.

There's an idiom in Spanish, "Es mejor prevenir que curar", which means that is better to avoid a problem and not wait for it to happen and then fix it. This happened here. I feel like waiting more is just aggravating the situation.
