Why I like a shop: It pays for the server! jippi! Why it should be cosmetics only: No.pay.to.win.
Now, before you rage over what I just said, look at all the other games out there with micro transactions. If it has pay to win, then you end up with only players who suport this philosophy. So basicly, ever player on the server will have the same gear! and this beats the point of a pay.to.win shop, it will end up be Pay to even compeete. No feel of difference, and it removes the whole "wow, look at his gear" factor wich is one of the things I personaly missed about Vanilla and TBC. Why should ANYONE grind for weeks if they could just buy it?? The devs surely love this philosophy because they get payed big time! If you want a server with the best gear instantly, then there are many others out there where you can get it for free.
I hate to se such a well preforming server be destroyed by pay to win. This will make it impossible for people to get into karazhan or any other raid without awesome gear.
Shop should be cosmetic, if you dissagree then you are a scrub that should play on another server where its free. Wrecking people and raids should be a goal, not done through a paycheck.

Thats not the way the store works. I highly thought people will use it to gear up their characters for entry level raids.

I know myself personally I will get the war glaives (if they come out) and make a rogue. After raiding so much and never getting to complete the set in tbc. I will be damn this time. lol

Look at this guy under you, want to get war glaives, and they will show up in the shop for sure. That will make them feel so legendary right? And they are not overpowered at all right? And heck, you can just farm them, the drop rate is 1% so that would probably work right? when you pay, to get better gear then others or get far ahead of others it is Pay.to.win! there is a PvP specter here that will get ruined by this. As for the wotlk server where everyone has legendary weapon! What is pay to win in your world of insanity then? I cant wait for the reply.

And the shop can let you buy legendary items and set items that takes ages to obtain. Legendaries are so hard to get that it is almost impossible to obtain. Aka Pay to win!

Because other servers do not hold the same amount of players, quality and protection from say DDOS attacks? All of those things cost quite a bit, be grateful you can enjoy a smooth running server.

2. How to get glaives: A) Enter BT during the morning B) Spawn the Loot table of Illidan C) Glaive is not there? Relog. D) It is there. E) Profit.
3. Thoridal - just as hard to acquire as most pieces from KJ and M'uru. Which is hard, but certainly not more hard than any other piece.

I spent so much time in MC trying to get Perditions (NEVER GOT IT) and so much time trying to get glaives MH (like 100 OH drops). I have zero care what others think about me picking them off the store if and when they become available. I dont even have my rogue level, he is lv1 at the moment. =)
