You need to end the arena season sooner with the release of T5 in 3 days. Otherwise at the start of season 2, ppl and specifically rogues who likes pve gear in pvp will have farmed T5, SSC and TK for 5 weeks. And by the time you buy your first season 2 gear piece... yeah.
Atm there are almost only rogue teams in the active top 10 2vs2 ladder. With the current release schedule rogues will dominate even more...
Please reconsider ending the arena season sooner with the new raid announcement so we can have a better and more balanced pvp scene. Pvp gear is already lacking behind the pve gear and it will only get worse.

Stormherald will be a huge problem aswell as most healers still wear blue honor gear and a few s1 pieces vs a t5 weap that ppl will have first week.
I hope they reconsider and start s2 sooner than 20th August

This is not retail. And blizzard ****ed up which they realised, take a look at the early pvp tournaments, its t5 and s2, not t5 and s1 gear.

The difference is that during S1 on retail, T4 & T5 gear did not have as good stats as they have now.
Across the board they were roughly 10-20% worse, which made the S1 gear more on par.

On top of that, content was actually hard and gated, people were ******s and Kara wasn't being pugged.
Just wait for it. They'll reset arena points (even though that never happened during TBC) too, just so there's a guarantee people are decked in T5 before anyone can even get S2 gloves.

August 20th is the set date for S2, unless they change it.
So far, the only official response is that they will at least delete teams (WTF, just reset them?) and most likely reset points. I am not pulling anything out of my ***. If you need proof that TBC never had arena points reset, just look in the 10 other threads regarding this topic, including the ones where I've posted conclusive proof.

True, if they dont want to move starting date for season 2 then they cant reset arena points otherwise when you buy your first s2 gear piece you will face fully geared t5 rogues with crafted t5 weaps and season 2 will be a ****show.

There are several threads on AJ documenting this. If you've never played TBC, maybe let the people who actually have some knowledge do the talking.
I am getting increasingly frustrated with Wrath babies wanting to change this expansion based on their incorrect assumptions.
Who in their right mind would want points to reset, when T5 will be on farm by the time S2 even starts?

First of all, i never claimed that u are wrong.
Second, i played TBC on retail back in these days and even was a active arena player.
Lord forgive me that I don't remember that 10 years ago the arena points didn't reset on season end.
