the state of leveling dungeons?

hi,

I plan to jump on here and test it out and play with my 2 boys very casually. one thing we found with retail was we could level through dungeons and they were simple but fun for the low levels and got quite hard on the higher levels for the boys.

I am wondering what the state of leveling is here? and also the state of dungeons and how you can progress in them? Is there a list of the ones which are open and work? or which you should avoid?

Hi,

You can also level through dungeons here and if you're in constant queues it's way faster than doing quests... Low level dungeons are all working, the only problem right now is in Uldaman where the channeling thing to awaken the last bug is bugged, but it's still doable, just one person must click on it repeteadly until the boss awakens...

I haven't encountered any problem with TBC dungeons and even less with WOTLK dungeons. You should consider making one tank and one heal for fast queues!

The main difference between retail and here, is the scaling of your toon @ vanilla / tbc content, the dungeons take too long considering green drop rate on item's while leveling is abysmal a bug for months, Questing can be done just way faster with the higher XP rates, plus you have no 'bonus' XP @ the end of a dungeon unlike in current retail.
TLDR: Retail you que RDF, here you just spam quests and hit 80 with 3x greens if ur lucky lol, then you can que into bg's with 10k hp and be effective asset you your team by attempting to trip the horde up with your corpse.

you can be an effective asset for your team with any ilvl simply by doing the objectives :)

said person can cap empty bases instead of just afking in the start zone.... think abit for yourselves.
Depending on the class he can defend for a much longer time.. but hey, this is warmane, the server where we dont use our spells :) what did I expect rofl..
