World of Warcraft Lore

Hi there
I played Warcraft for a long time and stopped then back again then stopped ... and recently I've gotten into reading the Novels and everything related to World of Warcraft .. and i wanted to experience the Story that WOW tells first hand...
so i was wondering should i start playing BC and finish the raids and everything then go to WOTLK and do the same then Cata Then MOP and so on ??
Or i can just play WOTLK and experience everything that Vanilla and BC have to offer and then Play Cata since the world gotten changed with Deathwing and then MOP
tell me what do you think?

Honestly, if you're just looking to go after the lore from a gameplay experience, then it would be in your best interest to play on the Wrath realms for the Vanilla/BC/WotLK lore, then jump to the MoP realm for Cata/MoP lore. However, playing the game itself, especially on a private server, isn't necessarily the best way to learn about the lore. There are a lot of things that are poorly represented in the game, difficult to access (top-end boss encounters for example; Ra-den and Sinestra come to mind), and then there are a lot of things in the lore that just are not in the game at all. If you're interested in doing research on the subject, I'd encourage you to check out the "know your lore" site for reading material, and nobbel87 on youtube for videos.

yeah i'm already reading everything in chronological order i just wanted to play them in game like playing warcraft 1 2 3 to see the story especially warcraft 3

and i can't play on Blizzard servers and get the content of BC/WOTLK/CATA/MOP/WOD since it is Legion now
from what you said i understand that playing WOTLK have everything from vanilla and BC
and MOP have everything from CATA too
And i guess Legion still have everything in WOD

So i should start playing on WOTLK and hope that i could find a server that has everything working first

Whichever server you play on (icecrown would be a good start) you're going to hit roadblocks because raids are designed around 10/25/40 players, you will struggle to solo most raids and you will struggle to get groups for raids below the max level, no harm in trying but if raids are what you want to see lore wise, you're gonna hit some walls. Retail has everything from TBC to Legion available and a max level char can solo old content with ease (even WOD content), but the old world was reshaped and all old world questing was overhauled in Cataclysm.

Naxxramus and later Onyxias lair were turned into level 80 raids in WOTLK, Zul Aman and Zul Gurub were turned into 5man dungeons in Cataclysm. Many of the old Vanilla dungeons were revamped and/or had additional heroic modes added to them in Cataclysm/MOP/WOD. Personally I would play on Icecrown and also play on retail WoW, you can pretty much everything covered.
