Outland Season 1 items during Season 2

I have heard that Season 2 is starting in 4 days (I think) on Outland and I am wondering if Season 1 items will then be available for purchase with honor points instead of Arena points. As I recall on retail, the arena items were only available for honor 2 seasons removed from their release (so S1 would be available for honor during and after S3).

Can we get an official response on if that will be the case on Outland?

No. They will do just like it happend on Retail.

This means Season 1 gear will be available for honor when Season 3 it comes as you can read here: http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Season_3_Arena_rewards
