Every morning/afternoon when logging on, I and many other thousands of people have to wait close to 2-4 hours just to be able to log in as the queues are high, and the server is most always capped. What can be done to increase the amount of players the server can hold, and how can I help with that dream?

If the server peak is in your morning, then in your evening there are less people and no queue.

The server can barely hold what it's holding already.
Lets say the server is a wooden bridge. And the player cap at the moment would be a two story bus, all seats taken. The bridge is nice and is just and just able to stay up when the bus is there. Although the bridge squeaks and wobbles a bit, still being able to hold the bus' weight. Now think what would happen if there would be even more people in that nice red two story bus. The nice wooden bridge is now under very very heavy stress. It now squeaks, wobbles and is generally unstable furthermore, barely holding up the weight of the bus. The bridge would most likely collapse any second.
