Coming from an Mist of Pandaria pplayer (main playing houres) i have al 4 expantions on my PC , so i kind move through the day betwen them. Only problem is the Woltk Icecrown , que... so when i see the que i just stick to , MOp, BC, Cataclysm.

If everyone did the same, there will be no Que and all realms populated. Job done!

yea, but it's hard to get past the population. i have the mop client as well as wotlk, but even with mops population i still got bored very quickly. it rather sucks for those that make their home on cata/mop as they're in a crap situation. people won't play/get bored due to low population, but the population can't get higher if people don't stay.

coming from an icecrown player, i'd go outland or frostwolf before cata, solely due to population.

I played here on Neltharion since its launch 3 accounts worth , Ice crown would be perfect without the issues it has, TBC was fun and old school but I preferred Wrath and Cata over them.

I can assure you there won't be any reset/merge anytime soon. The reason is simple : there are still active players out there enjoying Neltharion.

Nelth has 2 problems that feed each other
1) content is dead (no fixes are being made for quite a while, there is nothing (new) worth on server to "comeback" ) and because of that online is dead
2) online is dead becasue content is dead

With the MOP server will be the same thing, soon.

There is only one way to fix the situation @ Neltharion and Frostwolf ( suggested multiple times, inc. myself )- Make progression between servers possible. This will attract a lot of people who never played on molten/warmane. And will attract a lot of ppl who are playing currently on TBC, WOTLK.
But guess what it "requires a lot of work and consideration"

Otherwise, it is only making me ( and a bunch of other people i know ) laugh and feel sad when we see that "high" online on servers we once played.
I personaly made a bet that soon neth will be closed.

Dontcha put my name under words i havent said ! I havent' said that server is not worth playing, i havent said that population is the problem.

Yeah i stoped playing on warmane for about 2 years ago. And stoped playing WOW after coming back to bliz servers for a month. WOW died for me. i've done vanilla TBC WOTLK Cata. Cata was the best one Because it Did not make me ride a freaking horse when i could fly and It had transmog. Finaly people could spend LESS time on getting from place to place and doing other stuff that ( plus some other things ) Excactly why catas' content is DEAD. You spend less time on doing quests, less time on everything. Man. I leveld a DK tank in like 8-12 hours Got gear from AH for gold i made from quests and went RDF, in 2 hours i went RDF HC, in 4 more hours i had enough ilvl to go RHOT, 8 more hours of farming and i had enough items to go Off Tank first 3-4 bosses in DS, you call that NORMAL ?

I remember the day when they started doing fixes. It was those days when Most of people from Cata went back to WOTLK servers Or abandoned the game. It was like " OH LOOK, WE Opened ICC... but... only two bosses work.... but... ITS ICC MAN ! " . and community was like " maaaan noone cares maaaan. you have WOTLK working better than anything else you had "

Most of pvpers left cuz some classes were broke OP or broke and weak.
Most of Pveers left cuz they finished everything possible and have nothing else to do.
Meeeh i can go on and on. I would not even bother checking because i am shure that these two classes are screwed up the same way they were 2 years ago.
I've been there when online was at 6K and, i've been there when online went down to 800 people, i've been there during the whole Hermes drama, I've been there since 2011.
