from your experience, which of the two, most likely will often grant you a spot in good raid groups (ICC HC- RS)?
Or to put it this way,
What would an end game PvE guild prefer?
What would you prefer in your group/guild?
Maybe both are good or bad, the question lies to which of the two, would you rate a bit higher than the other
In a 10 man raid there are usually 2 tanks, 2 healers and 6 dps.
In a 25 man 2 tanks 4-5 healers and 17-18 dps.
Its true there are way less tanks but if you look at the raid composition you can see why.
Both frost and unholy dps is very useful and every 25 man group usually has one of each for the buffs and debuffs they bring.
Unholy really shines in RS 25hc due to the amount of aoe dmg it can do to adds while also applying 13% increased magic dmg taken debuff to each, its single target is also decent and its a good class for pretty much every fight in ICC.
Frost is a staple for every raid due to 20% meele haste buff it brings along with decent single target dps.
If youre looking for an end game guild dps is the way to go, tanks in those usually come from members of the guild due to the fact you need alot more experience to tank than you do for dpsing.

This. Tanks are great for joining pugs, but typically well established guilds already have dedicated tanks that the guild knows and trusts, in my personal experience, the GM is usually one of the tanks. Go dps if you want to do serious raiding.
