Following these steps has worked for me, my tbc client is working fine xP
Playing on a MacBook and iMac as well.....having the issues below:
1.) The method with WineHQ worked on my MacBook first login. The next time I logged in, the application loaded to a black screen and the game crashed. The only thing I can think of that I changed was the resolution in-game. I tried deleting the config.wtf folder and interface, but did not help....
2.) Retail WoW is installed on my iMac, but the issue with the black screen above happens here as well, but at least with my MacBook, the game loaded up the first install.
Is there something outside of the config.wtf and interface folder that might be setting a resolution?

Is it possible to get any add-ons to work this way too?
Hello, sorry for the late reply
But yes, addons work just fine all you have to do is go into the package contents of the .app
Go to the drive_c folder
Go to the Program Files folder
Then to the WoW folder
In there is a "Interface" folder and in there you will see an AddOns folder where you can use your addons from sites like Legacy-Wow
They work just fine, I use many myself like Cartographer and Quartz with no problems at all
I played WoW on Mac for the first time, in TBC. So, that is wrong. I never had a PC as my main computer until 2 years ago, and i played wow on a MacBook Pro up through Cataclysm.
