1. Char Trade Min Price Calculation

How can it be that my main (see Xee in Armory) can be set up for 41 coins with equipment only, even though he is wearing full s4 except shoulders and weapons, which are still s3 - but my alt I leveled just for fun that is half naked has a min price of 91 coins (see Yaa in Armory)

What is the algorythm behind the calculation? is it fcked up like that? I just want to get rid of that toon and grab some golds for the coins which i desperatly need.

What can I do to lower the price?

  2. When you get closer to the end game gear prices go up, for instance naked shadowmourne character can't be sold less than 150 coins (which is the price of shadowmourne). You dont have to sell it for minimum price, set it as the price you see fit and see if it gets sold. Also, to lower the price you may need to unequip some of your gear as it is the only way. Make sure you select "Equipment only" aswell.

  3. The cost is based on the prices in our own Marketplace. Items of lower grade that are generally used for transmogrification are costly, as vanity is a luxury. If you try to sell a character equipped with what's considered transmogrification fodder, it will be therefore costly.

  4. Im playing on Outland, there is no such thing as transmog.

    Just check the armory sites:

Xee (3800 gearscore, endgame equip, 46 coins min price equip only): http://armory.warmane.com/character/Xee/Outland/summary

Yaa (nearly naked, 91 coins min price equip only): http://armory.warmane.com/character/Yaa/Outland/summary

I think there is an issue in the calculation somehow.

  5. The Marketplace still follows the same rule for lower gear being costlier as far as I know, even in Outland.

  6. The Marketplace still follows the same rule for lower gear being costlier as far as I know, even in Outland.
So you mean unequipping the few items and checking the price again in the trade to see what item causes the high price would help?

  7. Yes, removing items with the inventory not being included in the trade will lower the minimum price.
If you mean as in changing the costs, no. As far as I'm aware the costs are as intended on that.
