WotLK Random or not? Arena Queue 4.8k GS vs. 6.3k GS players.

Full WF off parts, WF gloves/pants/chest, WG shouders, Relentless Helmed, x2 264 trinkets, 264 weapon. This will put you almost to 6k if not above. All this gear is easy to obtain for any pug player just by casually playing the game and its more then enough to push rating.

No one said it was impossible, it's just really time consuming. Just look at the average lordaeron player: How many of those have a 264 weapon? It requires you to be able to raid Icc 10 hc or 25nm, which definitely requires good pve gear. we are talking about months of playing vs just buying here. I don't mind there being a pay to win server, but problems start when you merge it with a hardcore raid server and some *****s like you pretend that it's not a problem.
Go ahead: Make a char on lordaeron and get 6k gs, tell me how long it takes you. Meanwhile I go on blackrock and get 6k gs. I think I stand good chances to win that race, even though we'd both lose to every donor from IC

No, absolutely not. The wotlk PvP system bases on better players having better gear, here every 4yo has BiS gear, and losing to a braindead overgeared dk is something completely different than losing to a dk who got BIS gear for being a great player, and I wouldn't face those players at 1.5k in the first place. I never complained about getting outgeared in many years of retail, I just complained about dog**** class design in the later expansions

I use to have multiple characters on Lordearon and i played it when it launch and multiple other times over the years, so i am perfectly aware how gearing progression goes because i have done it many many many times for past 10 years of this server existence. All of my gear i have earn myself over the time by playing the game or selling gold/characters from other server over the course of years. Who the **** are you to come here and try telling me how hard/easy is to gear/progress on server that i play since 2009? I hate the most little ****s like you, who join the server 2-3 months ago and already complain how far behind their are compare to players who are here for many years, **** off.

I never claimed that you start at 6k on blackrock, and I DO have a 6k warlock there. I just invited you into a 6k gs race: You do it on lordaeron Horde and I do it on Blackrock Alliance, since this merge is completely fair, there shouldn't be a difference and the more skilled player should be faster. No one on lordaeron minds putting time into his character, that's the reason we are here for afterall, but it does really suck when you are the only one in a bg who actually had to invest that time to get your gear. Imagine the following case: Your hobby is Boxing and you love doing it on a competitve level and you love putting time into getting better at it. Even though you are just 5'6 and 140lbs you achieved a great physique over the years of hard training (which you enjoyed). Now in your next fight you go against an amateur boxer who is 6'6 and 290lbs and has only like a months of boxing experience. There is no ****ing way you are going to beat this guy because he simply does not belong in your weight class. BUT he paid the guy who organised the fight 1500$ to drop into your weightclass.

Have fun in the fight, I mean you just need to get better to win against him, since bruce lee probably could beat him with similar stats. You DO enjoy training right? You DO enjoy a challenge, right? So this would be completely fair and if you said anything against him or the fact that you have to fight him instead of people of your hight/weight, you are nothing more than a whiner and a salty loser.

And logic doesn't defy itself for you just because you play longer here than I do.

It's in my mind because I ****ing know how to read numbers and facts. Compare the average gear from lord with the average gear from icecrown or blackrock. Lordaeron is way WAY worse, which makes sense since we have the hardest time getting the gear and can't just completely bypass the effort to get gear by donating. I really like that and as I said I am also not necessarily against crossrealm arenas and introducing gear brackets into arena is a horrible idea.
But you can't deny the fact that it is incredibly unfair to merge a pay 2 win, a fun and a hardcore raidserver together. The debate is if this unfairness or our que times are a worse issue. It's just ridiculous that you still claim to not see the issue in the crossrealm system. The only thing you're doing is dodging actual responses and claiming that everything is alright. Open your ****ing eyes. Every statistic available supports my point. I guess it's just a coincidence that Lordaeron horde players are nowhere to be seen on the ladder, they have completely the same environment than icecrown and blackrock alliance, Guess they all just suck or are too lazy. And there is a surprising amount of braindead icecrown players in bgs who blame everything on the 1-2 lord plebs in their team. I even had one guy who said that everyone on lordaeron is a pleb who can't get to 6k and how he was 6.8k while it was more than obvious from his gameplay that he never read his abilities

if you want everything to be fair then stick to duels, then you can choose exactly who you fight and what gear they have and how they got their gear. no one gives a **** about you getting all salty cause people choose to support the server and buy gear.

the rest of us are limiting to play pvp outside of lordaeron, not lying about the state of the realm.

Duels have been the most imbalanced and unfun form of competitive PvP in any expansion and patch of WoW. The game is balanced around 3v3 and that's it. A warrior will just lose against a blood dk if the gear difference is less than 2k gs, nothing to do about that. This shows that you have no damn clue what PvP is about. And I am really sorry that I shared my opinion in a forum that is specifically designed to do so.
I really appreciate that people are supporting the server financially, I can't afford it right now, but I probably will at some point in the future. But if I am going to do so it'll be because I want to help the server and not because I want the coins. I don't want gear that I don't deserve, but I also don't want to play against other people who wear gear they do not deserve, THAT is the reason why I switched from icecrown to lordaeron just to find out that bgs will get merged when I was like lvl 72, so yeah... great:/
doing 2 different servers (one hardcore raiding and as blizzlike as possible, one purely pay to win) was a great idea to give every player what he wants while assuring that warmane will definitely not starve in the near future. Merging them in PvP definitely has it's pros and cons and for some reason you are blind on the cons side, since that side doesn't concern your realm probably.

What would you say if warmane announced crossrealm bgs between cataclysm and icecrown to prevent that server from getting taken down? would be a similar feeling in the bg just even worse. I could sit on lordaeron, browse the forums and reply to every icecrown complaint: "GIT GUD LUL"

I already told you world is not fair, sorry to burst your bubble. That don't mean you cant catch up to other players.

Early you propose to have donor only brackets. Even if Warmane accept that idea, you will still have to play against non-donor players form Blackrock, something that you now also complain about and call it unfair. This is why Skuddy said people like you will always find something to whine about.

Look its very simple. There is 2 optionw. Lordearon be in cross-realm and have fast queue, or Lordearon have its own bracket and have 30 mins queue time. They have decided, for now at least, that Cross-realm is the better option. You may not like it, but you will have to accept it.
