After restarting the game, I could not go for this character, because the game asked for a new nickname. And that’s it. to enter a character I tried to enter different names, so that even with a different nickname, it would be useless to enter the game.

During gameplay you set your settings to default. It asked to restart to apply all changes. Then you log bag into your account and to play a character, it requires you to change character's name all of a sudden? And regardless of what nickname you choose, you can't enter that character?

I don't get how either of these things could be related. It might be your character was flagged for rename for inappropriate name?

If I enter a new name, a similar window is displayed with the text "Enter a new name" and an error or warning sign (a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in the middle). He also introduced the same and other names there - it is useless.

I have not used such resources before, like Warmane, and for the first time I play VoB. Therefore, when I reached level 50 and suddenly such a situation occurred, I had only 2 thoughts:
1) bug, error.

Not sure how the forced name change looks like but the one from bought from the site looks pretty much like you said it does. When you try to enter the character it asks you to enter a new name.

In my opinion, what kind of server bug happened. When resetting all the settings to default, even the launcher settings were reset. And at that moment, something went wrong.
