WotLK Resolution change problem

Hello,

I have a problem with changing resolution.

After downloading the game basic resolution ingame is 1024x768. Bascially I have like 20% of screen unused.

Everytime I try to change resolution it the game stops working, so I turn it off, start the game again, but it resets to the default resolution which I don´t want.

Can anyone help me?

In your system settings, change your "display mode" from "windowed" to "windowed (fullscreen)". This will expand your window to your screen size, no matter what resolution you are using.
