1. Question spell penetration & curse

Hi, I would like to know the spell penetration for a lock destro. I looked in armory all the "top" locks but there isn't a standard cap...someone use the classic 130 others 80+, others 50+...so honestly I don't know...

Regarding the curse, what kind of school magic are them? Shadow?

  2. 135 is the standart and only few classes can go above it. Curses are shadow school yes!

  3. This "standart" comes from pala/priest buffs. In case when u have druid+ pala/priest it will be not enough to completely get rid of resists.
But also seems smth is broken here or they are using CoE, cause currently: 2v2 p2 team warlock "Evlcuzlw" - 61 spell pene, 3v3 p3 team warlock "dancemania" - 61 spell pene.

  4. it's to probably to reduce targets resistance to eliminate 20% partial resists while minimizing stat "loss" on targets without aura/shadow protection

    that exactly what i didn't get....some lock top soloQ / 2s /3s use -60+ others -80+ very few -130....

I still dont understand lol....I mean, do they start with the idea to apply CoE no matter what? no Exaustion no Tongue only and only CoE? I don't know...

  6. 60 penetration would remove 30% partials from table(go find because I cant remember exact numbers), so its a trade doing less damage(no 0 resistance +13% magic damage) on average for freeing up curse slot I guess. And they can prepare for execute and still apply CoE.

Maybe whisper them ingame and ask, because this is only sense I could make from purely mechanical perspective.

  7. But with 60 sp is possible miss shadowfury and curses...even immolate...I will wisp someone lol

  8. Looking deeper 130 is the "perfection" to avoid any-miss in sfury, miss a curse gcd. The majority of tops lock play anyway with 100+ so I assume that 100 is the edge to hit at 90%+ of the times with everything.
