So you dont see a difference between 5-10 people been online at the same time, getting in voice com, coordinating their gameplay and some guy who use software to do this alone? By your logic what's wrong with botting and scripting in general?

i see the difference, i just don't see why it matters. if 10 characters kill me how many people were behind the screen has 0 effect on the results. botting and scripting are against rules. were they not i'd see no issue with them either as it would be an allowed playstyle, and i'd defend their right to do it just as i am now for boxing.
So if tomorrow Warmane decide to take no action against botting and scripting you will be fine with that? You just follow whatever you are told and you cant use your brain to make decisions yourself.
i'd think it was a dumb decision, but it's their server, their rules. i wouldn't come to the forums to ***** and moan about it. i'd either deal with it and play, or find somewhere else to spend my time.
Or... you cry about it till they change it. You know like how they make bannable ninja looting, or forcing people to kick you from dungeons, or how they added pvp brackets and so on. There is plenty of example of community crying about something till Warmane react. Saying " deal with the rules or play something else" is the most braindead take someone can have and with mentality like this nothing will ever improve. Especially when you are talking to people who are part of this server community for 10 years and are very invested into it.
if you're idea of improvement is catering to the whiners i hope you're never in charge of any game i play.
Playing daily bg for years here, coordinated premades are extremely rare, 99% are just braindead bis teams, you still can hunt them down one by one, while vs good geared multiboxer u end up with 0 kills.
But now we're getting off the subject because the root of the problem is not just the balance itself, but the breaking of the gameplay for many players. If we find a game where the opposing team will be bis premade then at least 10-40 people have fun with it, if we find a multiboxer, only 1 person has fun with it.
Looking into future, these 10-40 people will bring greater benefits such as coins and online statistics, in addition, each of these people can get their friends to play on this server.

that's frankly the only valid point i've read thus far, and 1 i don't have a rebuttal for.
Very well said, props to you.
Thats if they split up which frankly does not happend very often as they move in group to maximise HKs.
Are you talking about yourself and your 5 hater friends?
Multiboxing is just pointless and ruining the gameplay.. So It's clearly disrupting gameplay.. but I dont understand why people keep protecting Multiboxers and trying to explain things over it. Im sure those people are 0 skill who hides behind the MBX. Warmane atleast BAN the MBX on Lordaeron.
yes, we all have 0 skill, that's why we can wipe an entire field of people full of non-thinkers. (there are considerations). imagine contributing to a post, with nothing.
At this point, it's pretty obvious why people are pushing for more. You people got a taste of victory and you're going for blood. Selfish blood sucking vampires. Imagine having options and still acting like a complete child. Grow up people. You can have your way, but you'd rather destroy something instead. What a pitiful society.
Yea it's very skillful to wipe an entire field of players that have no organization. As if any multiboxer would be able to do that to a group of similarly geared coordinated people. Basically that's what yall play for isn't it? To bully the weak disorganized players and hope that it's not worth their time to group and actually pursue killing you. Additionally utilizing software to perform feats that you physically (and mentally) cannot achieve in a game is called cheating buddy. You are truly delusional if you believe otherwise. And stop talking as if multiboxing is something special that should be protected. It's basically a minority of people trying to justify cheating through the lack of a specific rule (that did not exist before because multiboxing was so incredibly rare that people did not even think about it). Lastly - welcome to our pitiful society mate! Where the good of the many precedes that of the few.
We rarely (never ?) see multiboxers in PvP on retail. It has a negative impact on economy, because of super-spawning monsters, herb & mining nodes that allows multiple players to gather it before it despawns. The multiboxing strategy on retail is mainly to create XX druids and fly around generating outrageous amount of herb & ore to sell on AH. The second one is to use XX moonkins to pull the entire map endlessly (because of the superspawn in certain area) and generate ridiculous amount of BOE mounts to sell on AH.
The gathering market is broken in a matter of days each new expansions on realm with many mboxers, I wont even talk about the world drop mounts market which is already a slow market, that is entirely at the mercy of multiboxers.
Warmane and retail aren't the same game anymore, you cannot compare the impact of mboxers.
