so.. events are here... but it seems most of use cant enjoy them at all
Quest line? come on....
deathmatch with no gear filter? and caped for 100 ppl per match for server with 12k+ ppl? now lets say you can enter... you gonna be farmed by the bis pvp players and never complete the quest...
raid? with req gs of 6.2 min and still wiping.... what the point making raid with eof rewords for ppl that dont need it? so they could sell more primo's?
and even if you enter you wiping like crazy... how is this fun even for bis ppl?
i have 4.5-5.5 chars on 2 account.. is there events for me to enjoy? if you make events like this, make them for everyone!
prev year at least i could enter with 5gs+ chars and enjoy hunting mobs with a raid of 80 ppl competing against other 80 ppl raid or fight againts 80 ppl raid for the mobs... that was fun as hell! and now we either getting farmed in pvp or wiping in a raid(considering you entered the event to begin with)...

Im not sure why you think you'd need 6k+ chars for the custom raid, since its puggable by 5.5k raid, except maybe the last boss requires a bit more gear.. are people really this bad to not being able to handle a few troll mechanics?

Have you seen the Global lately? Nobody will ask for 5.5k for the custom raid, everyone is asking ppl with 6.2 at least which makes this particular event something for the BiS geared ppl only.
The OP has valid a point I think the staff should consider the rest of the ppl for the events not only the best geared ppl, Deathmatch is harder to accomplish even with a char above 6k, the guys at 5k are having very less chances of completing the quests.
I am not saying that the work the staff did is wrong I actually enjoyed the deathmatch event but I also feel like not all the people is taken into consideration here.
Therefore not everyone is able to have fun on this events equally, thats the true.

Have you tried creating a raid ever?
I have created a lot of pugs myself and honestly i find no reason recruiting 5k gs noobards instead of 6,4k gs noobards. Because before you prove it to me you are a noobard, so i prefer a geared one. And since they are available why not ask for them?
Stop crying, create a raid yourself gosh... Or join a guild. Have you ever considered that?
Edit: Custom raids are a really nice addition. Warmane obviously put huge work on this. I myself am bored of raiding right now so havent tried it but god, guys, stop complaining even blizzard had problems with events in the past..Edited: December 30, 2020 Reason: Addition to explanation

typical warmane "badass" so you can create raid...whats your point? not every one can do that neither lead it, and im in 2 guilds and none doing this raid cuz its annoying AF... y warmane put some work on and ty warmane for that, but they failed that's the point of the thread, either make events for everyone or don't put at all... and what the hell blizz fked up so warmane can to? or should i mention blizz reputation today? warmane needs to be better

Well what do you expect when people can start playing yesterday and then buy frostMourne or just collect emblems for a year. It's not retail the pool of players with bis is high enough to allow it. Ig you can consider the gear score padding as insurance even if your a total baddie you can't possibly be as bad as a baddie with a 5k or 4k gs.
I my self hate the high gs requirements, I'm sitting at 5.5k gs as well.
People are not at all as motivated as they once were back in retail either, basically 1 wipe rage quitting can cause an entire raid to disband **** even waiting more than 5 minutes can have the same effect.

Any valid proofs of server being P2W please? Or you just one of guys who are not in guild and thus can go to raids only with PUGs? Or who think that there is no pvp players with SM obtained through questline?

What do you actually know you just joined.
Make your own group, the GS that people demand are absurdly high and you could probably easily do it with 4.5k average gs.
Dont blame the staff for something they have not done, the players are the ones setting the gearscore requirements not the staff.Edited: January 4, 2021

More then enough casuals on Icecrown, it's their own fault if they're unable to participate in events cause they never raided (or donated :-))
