I just want to say thanks.

The situation with bots has become unbearable, and wg unplayable. Whatever the reasons that led up to this decisions its going to be good for the community. Its kinda sad some people donated for their toons just before the measure but donations are just that, donation. I have donated a lot to the server fully knowing that the server could have a second moltdown(to those who remember). Still we play here because its the most populated realm that offers the most stable experience.

Hell yeah you tell them man, glad to see warmane finally laid the fist on multiboxing while leaving PVE up I can't say I can think of a better solution, thanks for the work you and the staff do.

We already went down the "Slippery slope" when you guys stopped allowing boxes bigger than 25. According to a member of the staff: "no plans to limit it further, we honestly had no plans to limit it further than 25 either but we were forced with massive bot invasions, bots with multiboxing software were doing pve in counts of 10 to 1 in terms of players" if this was the true issue wouldn't you guys ban bots? Kinda punishing real players for what feels like the lack of interest by staff to implement anti-botting measures that actually stop bots. Warmane has been around for 6 years and after molt-down we were promised open and honest practices and "good" communication, not silencing the community when they disagree with things. Warmane also said yesterday that multiboxers were causing the sever to spike to 3k+. Lets talk about the server crash that just happened and about how there's has been more server instability today than before.

You don't seem to understand the meaning of a slippery slope, of the concept of multiple causes, of what communication entails, or of what Forum moderation means. You're free to be disappointed with the decision, even free to divulge it in a proper manner, but don't try to dump that into this fruit salad of a post.

Can we at least talk about how there very conveniently was a big coin sale just before multiboxing was dropped to 5? If this truely was an issue "within the last 15 days" something should have been said before, the coin sale delayed, or at least something instead of squeezing those last few euros out of multiboxers. Pretty sketchy NGL if you guys need money just say something :p

I know warmane won't ever change it I've already decided on a new team but personally, I won't be donating more to the server and will let some friends play the accounts I won't use anymore it's positively infuriating spending thousands on hardware to be able to multibox, hundreds of euro donating on accounts to be able to log in in a reasonable amount of time, , dozens of hours setting up software and hardware, hundreds of thousands in gold then basically getting told "get rekt 2bad"and just FYI, Staff knew about the SW party well in advance and didn't do anything about it proactively and still punished everyone for it kekw

Being sincere and blunt, your complains should be directed at the people who pushed it waaaaay past the line of the acceptable. We were perfectly fine with multiboxers for years and years, but things were taken too far. In case you might try to say that's not true, let me quote a post from a player in this thread (not meaning it's fully endorsing everything he says):

Multiboxing was "i dont care about this weird super rare thing", yea sucks to get blasted with some lame passive aoe, but whatever, kind of amazing to see someone sold their kidney to host all that. Ban the bots. Was it server stability? Limit us to 10, what *specifically* caused this? We can't prevent it happening in the future if we don't know what went wrong.

Okey, well you guys should have tried to kept mb scene as clear as possible, but in fact most mbs just act plain stupid and toxic and ruin a lot of stuff for other players - City raids, Wintergasp, MB on ICC entrance I've even saw mbs lock quest hubs like valliance hold and etc.
And now you are voicing your concerns? Where were you when more then half of the community were outraged against whats happening, why didn't you enter a civil discussion then?

Multiboxers went wrong, multiboxers caused this. That's not something you can fix. People ruin everything, people ruined this, there's no going back. For expressing an opinion and concerns? While attempting to have an open channel of communication? Seems a bit extreme. I just want the truth is all. I'm more than happy to move to PM, voice chat or discord with any member of staff or forum moderation team if they are open to the idea, but I doubt that.
