WotLK Murloc custom missing??

hello, i know there was an exploit to do the maze, but i have spent more then 3h doing it the right way.
after 3 hours or so i have reached the quest guy and he gave me my murloc custom which i earned the right way.
logged today and i notice its not in my bag anymore.
why this item got removed from my bag, i would have NEVER spent 1 minute of my time knowing you will take this item.
this is not right. and fair for those who actully put effort into this event.

It was a badly designed event and they quickly took away the reward for everyone.. meanwhile the broken undeleatable clues have been occupying quite a few spaces from my bags on multiple characters for over a week now and still not fixed.

Murlock costumes were removed for players who obtained it from the event quest and did not complete the prior quest with the bunnies and carrots.
Thus they were only removed from players that used some form of an exploit.

Yes i understand that, but the bunnies DO NOT drop any carrots, the npc in Dalaran is invisible for most people and the other people that do see the NPC cant complete the track anyway. Me and 3 other people got to the bunnies yday, killed about a 1000 bunnies, not a single carrot dropped. Then eventually the murlock costum quest just vanished.

PS The quest states bunnies can drop many valuable things, however in the 1000 or more bunnies dead, not a single thing dropped, all corpses were not lootable.

Also today, i cant see the globlin in Dalaran either, yet friend of myn can. So something is very broken with this event, clock is ticking away on the event and cant even try to do the course.

Yup goblin in Dalaran is not there.. cant complete the quest even if you wanted to.

Maybe the old fashion "Cannot loot quest items while in raid" game mechanic has something to do with it.
It was not fixed to punish players but to be like "Hey, do it now when we fixed it and get it legit" instead of the way it was not intended (now after they fixed the bugg).

When? or will staff at all? reset the loot rewards for questchain event is the real question.
