WotLK MacOS error

"World of Warcraft" needs to be updated.
"The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information."


I get this error when I install the game. I'm using a macbook air 2020 M1 chip.
Is there a WOTLK for this OS?

Can anybody help please?

Recent macos do not support 32 bit app anymore, that is why.

MAC user can use this as workaround

1. You can use Wotlk for windows by using "CrossOver" (by following this guide http://forum.warmane.com/showthread....=1#post3043338 )

2. Otherwise, here a different solution by using Wineskin:

but it does not work with M1 chip.

In your case you may try with Parallels (and wotlk for windows) according to these guys
