What you can do is use the Auction house to achieve a gold transfer by simply putting a useless item on auction with the character that needs the gold and buying the item with the other character that has the gold. if its BOE's you want to transfer you can use the same method but I have no idea how to send something like heirlooms. Hope it helps :)

AH transfer would need 2 accounts. Risk lies with bots stealing your items if you post them for cheap. Heirlooms can be easily sent via mail across factions, but within the same realm.

yes by using neutral AH but the buyer and the seller must be on a different account (if you donot have a second account, you can ask to a friend)
in case you are playing on "Frostmourne" I guess every AH is good for that, since it is cross-faction (but still a need a second account or a friend)
