Hellou, id like to cap my fps to 70 and i dont know how, ive searched but coudnt find anything.
Right now its over 180 and i dont want my laptop to get hot for no reason

You can also enter /console maxfpsbk 3 to limit the maximum background frame rate.

You could always turn VSync on and effectively cap the fps to your screen's refresh rate. That's kinda against your wish here if your screen is 120/144/etc Hz, but even then, what do you mean "hot for no reason"? You're running a game, it will get hot regardless, even tho not that much. If you don't want your laptop to "get hot for no reason", be good to it and change the thermal paste about once per year, preferably before summer, and clean the radiator and all vents. Otherwise just put it back in its box and never turn it on, ez.
